This kit was everything I needed to start doing my own nails at home! The colors of the polish are very nice, they don't have a bad smell to them. Not too thick or think, so most are good for just a one coat application. The UV light is simple and easy to use with a couple of time settings strong and with a simple push of a button for your preferred curing/drying time.

***Please never buy this product, bad quality and the UV lamp and the gel nail polish were missing, I send it back to seller and even they charged as I never return it, it was awful experience*****

The system works pretty well. The lamp seems pretty high quality. The cord is quite short so I had to change where I did nails, but no biggie. As others have pointed out, the polishes and base/top coats are small, but they tell you that up front and this is a starter kit. I’ve done my nails three times now with this kit. The first two manicures lasted a week, which is way longer than regular polish lasts on me. I know it says up to three weeks, but I think there is a learning curve. I’m getting better. The third manicure I did I used the matte top coat instead of shiny and it is lasting a bit longer. The polishes are a bit sheer. Even with three coats (once I tried four) you can still see through them, but I’ve only tried three colors so far. I’m sure as I get better I’ll get my own polishes and I’ll find some higher quality ones. The main thing is the lamp. For the cost of the kit I wouldn’t even be able to get one professional gel manicure where I live, so this is a great deal to be able to do this over and over for this cost is great.

Small bottles , yes ...there's no better deal on Amazon for all the bells and whistles in this kit and multiple polishe colors . The UV light is high quality and while time will time results how long the polishes last; actually like the smaller handle of the smaller bottles it's easier to maneuver around your hands and feet. I have tried beetles and modelones & these are the same quality if not better. Buy it.

I got one of these for myself and liked it so much that I bought another to gift my niece. It comes with most of the things to do your nails and has lots of color variety for different looks. The polish is nice and pigmented and if put on in thin coats and if nails prepped properly, lasts about two weeks. I’ve also used on artificial nails, with great results as well.
