Hoosier Hill Farm All American Whole Milk Powder, 8 lb Baker's Bag

This milk powder is delicious. It has a mild sweet aroma. It dissolves quickly with a smooth texture, no clumps. It is a very versatile product. I use it reconstituted for cereal. I blend the powder into my morning smoothie and use it dry for baking. There is only one ingredient: whole milk powder.

The Hoosier Hill Farm whole milk powder was surprisingly good. The quality is amazing, and it truly tastes like real milk. I had been debating between different brands, and this one was recommended to me — I’m glad I followed that recommendation because I do not regret it at all. The texture, flavor, and overall quality really stood out, and my mother absolutely loved it.

For powdered milk it's fantastic. If you want that fresh milk flavor there's only one way to get it and that's fresh milk. This is a very close second. If you hate powdered milk you might still like this one. I don't hate powdered milk but I don't drink any reduced fat dairy. This hit the spot having great whole milk flavor and convenience of being shelf stable. This lasted us most of the winter and all through the freezes where getting things like fresh groceries were a no go. We still had good milk even when we were snowed in. Highly recommend it for people who need storage or singles who don't want to throw the last bit of a gallon away. To mix: A splash of hot water mix a paste well then fill with cool water mix well and consume or refrigerate. If you go straight into cold water you'll get some lumps. If you don't make the paste you'll get some lumps. If you follow the directions well you'll make delicious milk.

I almost never write reviews (only when I am significantly favorably/unfavorably impressed)! That said, THIS IS THE BEST TASTING MILK EVER (or almost)! Really!!! We (kids and husband and myself) actually prefer the taste of this milk to any of the fresh whole milk in the stores, even the high end organic ones! However bc of the price I only keep it in the pantry for when we run out of fresh milk. It's wonderful to keep on hand and enjoy as a backup for fresh milk! I have a large family (5 still at home) and I bought this last 6 pound bag 1 1/2 years ago. It's hard to believe, but true that this one bag has remained as fresh tasting until now (Mar 2023) as it was back in Aug 2021. So feel free to order on the larger end of what you expect to use & don't be worried about it's potential shelf life. This one stayed in our pantry (thru cold and hot seasons) and still tastes Wonderful! We love the creamy taste of whole milk & this is how we dilute with water: 4 Tbs powder + 1 cup water = 1 serving or 1 c. powder + 1 quart water = 1 quart milk or 4 c. powder + 1 gallon water = 1 gallon milk
