Yamamotoyama - Green Tea 16 bags

Since I am the only one in the house to drink green tea, these green tea bags have been my to-go green tea for many years. Simple and easy to make and tasty. For an individual, you can use one tea bag for at least two brewing cycle (2 cups). The third brewing would be a little weak but can be used. This pack of 6 comes in sturdy box and always intact with no dent or tear, and arrives in perfect condition.

I have been drinking this brand of green tea almost my entire life. I love it and do not plan to change. It is always great quality and taste. The color after brewing is perfect. I think this is perfection in tea.

Drank this green tea in Japan, they actually drink it there. ,y wife is Japanese and she loves this brand . This is a thousand times better than American green teas. Buy it. Wonderful tea. Very smooth and natural taste plus individually wrapped bags in foil keeps them fresh in your desk or pocketbook

Never was much of a black iced tea drinker, but read that green tea is beneficial in many ways. I began to experiment with hot green tea purchased a the local grocers, but it all had a resemblance in taste of regular tea. Most is green, but not like what I see in pics advertising green tea. This evening I drank my first cup of Yamamotoyama Green Tea. I made 16oz with 3 teabags. The color is a fantastic light green. My first sip was; Wow ! Now this is a distinct flavor. Nothing like what I've had in the past. It is really deliciously unexplainable, because I've never tasted anything to compare it with. I'll take a stab and say that oats may come as close as I can relate to, but gives the tongue that certain dryness of tea. I may not know what good green tea tastes like, but I know this tea is different and flavorful enough that I'll be buying more of it.

Yamamotoyama has many different grades of Japanese Sencha, including several offered on Amazon. This is problably considered one of their 'lower' grades or an everyday tea. It is still a very authentic and tasteful cup of tea, compared to many of the other offerings posing as Green Tea. Most Japanese Senchas have a 'grassy' smell and/or taste compared to green teas from other countries. This tea also has a 'grassy' smell and taste. If you brew the bag too long, the taste will become stronger, so you can adjust the brewing time. This is a reasonable priced Sencha, that you can drink everyday (I drink it throughout the day) and then move on to higher grades of Japanese Sencha. Amazon and many stores, sell the same box individually. You could try 1 box, if you don't like it, nothing lost. I bought the 6 pack for convenience, and the price was lower when I bought it.
