These are True Black Raisins
Black raisins are black because they are supposed to be made from black grapes (which have more polyphenols than green grapes). Other brands of "black raisins" are really derived from green grapes (green grapes turn dark when they are not preserved with sulfur dioxide). True black raisins (also called royal raisins) are made from high-polyphenol dark grapes. This is the brand to buy for genuine black raisins made from dark grapes.

Best raisins ever.
Best raisins ever😀. Very little foreign material to clean out . One pound fillls 3 half pint jars. The stuff in a box only fills 2 .25 jars at best.

They have a slightly more intense flavor than regular raisins and they are larger
These raisins are soooo soft. I've bought them several times now and it's my new go-to for recipes with raisins.

Inconsistent
The first time I bought these they were terrific. Enormous. Juicy. In a resealable bag. When I re-ordered them they looked completely different. Much smaller raisins. In a bag that could not be resealed. I don’t really understand why - but I won’t order them again because it’s an inconsistent product, apparently.
