Mangoal Front 4K & Rear 1080P Dash Cam for Volvo XC60 2022-2026 (Model D)

Nicely engineered and easy to install. It took me about 40 minutes, beginning to end. The installation video was quite helpful. My only criticism is that while almost everything you need for installation it is included, there are no clips. I had a few left over from another dashcam I purchased and in my opinion, clips are necessary for proper rear camera installation. I considered returning this model for the new one with GPS but decided against it since Volvos have GPS running at all times.

In spite of what the listing said - this didn't work in my car - the connections were not the same - they had a different number of pins. Thankfully, I hadn't installed anything yet - I always test fit the connections before doing the full blown installation. The item was returned due to a lack of compatibility.

Installation looks OEM and front camera is nearly unnoticeable with no way for someone to disable it if hardwired.. Took off a star because many of the app features are behind a subscription. Unnecessary for how expensive this camera is. If you want to use features like clipping videos without having to download the entire video to your phone first, that requires a monthly subscription. Video quality is average. I don't see a difference compared to my 8 year old Rexing if anything.

Tried a similar version of a Volvo dashcam last year and experienced several issues. Tried this model and everything is working well so far. Easy to install, just make sure to use the correct adapter cable that comes with the cam.

Seamless installation, nice quality video, convenient features: This custom dash cam does not involve overly complicated installation steps but is definitely more time consuming to install when compared to generic dash cams. The trade off is that the product fits in very naturally, from an aesthetic perspective, and looks sleek in the car. Plus, with the placement of the camera, it doesn't take up much window space and provides a bit clearer view of the road when compared to other non-custom products. The product comes with a large 128 gb SD card for local storage but also syncs wirelessly to download videos without having to remove the SD card and load it onto a computer, saving time and making the download process much easier. The camera quality is also great, and the picture is clear and smooth, with no lagging or quality issues that I could notice while using. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Don’t work

This dash cam is very nice. Custom made for Volvo XC60 model D only, so it is embedded nicely with the rearview mirror housing. Much better than the ones that hangs off the windshield with a power cable running around. Front camera is 4K so the best resolution possible. Rear is 1080 so just HD, which is still pretty good. Viewing angle is wide so can see everything coming from the sides. Wi-Fi allows download to phones with an app. 128G microSD card is big for lots of video storage. Everything works well. Price is of course much higher than the cheap cameras, but this is custom built for specific model so well worth the price for us.

This Dash cam fits perfectly for my Xc60. The user interface is ok but you need to do an Ad Hoc Wifi to the device each time you want to D/L pictures. I wish it offered a USB interface or Bluetooth. The rear Camera is a bit trickier when using a hatch back. You need to leave enough room for the hatch to open but you do not want to have it hang down when the hatch is closed. I am still trying to figure out the best option. It might have been nice if there was an option to mount it to the rear ceiling.

After spending some significant time setting this dash cam up, I can confidently say that the video performance is definitely good quality. While the installation process was a bit of a headache, the peace of mind it provides on the road makes it worth the effort.

This is the second time I buy this dashcam. I highly reccommend it. Installed on a Volvo V60 and XC60 and both works great! A must have!

I installed a Mangoal Dashcam in my GMC truck 2 months ago, and ordered one for my wife's car for Christmas... it arrived quickly and installing the front camera was very easy in the 2026 Volvo XC60. Running the wire to the rear was a little bit tricky at times, but ended up exactly where it was supposed to be. I love the look of the Mangoal Dashcam... like it came like that from the factory! The plastic is colour matched. This camera was wired off of a dimming mirror, but my truck didn't have that option. When I checked the video, the front 4k, and rear 1080 were perfect and each was recording to the included Lexar. I love these cameras! No fuss and easier to install. A

Very impressed with this product as it was easy to fit, I was able to fit the front camera in around 10 minutes, and the rear camera was around 40 minutes, as I had to route the cable through the door rubber, which took a little time. The image quality is fantastic, and I would happily buy another Mangoal dash cam system as it looks like a factory fitted item.
