Pupford Soft & Chewy Training Treats for Dogs & Puppies (Chicken, 5 oz)

My dog loves these treats! They’re soft, chewy, and perfect for training. The beef flavor is irresistible, and they’re small enough to give frequently without overfeeding. Great quality and my puppy can’t get enough!

Absolutely great! I've been training my 12 week old German Shepherd puppy with these and a clicker for the past 3 weeks. I'm nearly 40 and have been training dogs most of my life and have tried a million different treats, techniques, etc. and these treats have been wonderful for training this pup. She loves them, when I strap on my training bag and she smells those treats, she stands in attention and gets ready for a fun, tasty training session. They're also great to put into her brain-teaser contraptions. They're awesome and a complete game changer!

My two pups go crazy for these treats. Used the for training with my recently rescued, neglected, scared and reactive pup and it has helped a lot as he’s food motivated. Also what is great about them, is they are soft enough that I am able to push a small pill inside them to administer my other pup her 2x daily thyroid medication. Tried hiding it in her food but she eats around it, they have good noses but she can’t ever say no to these even when her meds are inside. They are expensive but worth it as they are exactly what they say they are, low calorie, and very rewarding to the little ones.

These Pupford Soft & Chewy Training treats are perfect for my puppy. While the size of the treat can vary to the point where you may grab a tiny perfect treat or one that's twice the size, they seem irresistible to my puppy. I didn't try to break the larger sized pieces since I didn't want the smell of the treat to linger my hands or my puppy to think I still had some, but I'm sure you can do so with a scissor. Having tried other treat brands, my puppy was hypnotized by the beef treats. The treats smell great which I hope translates to them tasting good to my puppy. These treats were a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money.

my 8wk old golden retriever puppy is OBSESSED with these. they have that smokey bacon smell that catches his attention, and i mix these in with the kibble in his treat pouch, and i think its making the kibble more enticing to him, because before these, it was more difficult to train with kibble. goldens are known for chicken sensitivity, but he's having perfectly healthy poops thank god. the only thing i will say, is for a puppy, these treats are pretty large, and when they arrived, i ended up cutting them up to make them smaller and last longer. some of them can even be cut into thirds or fourths! though if i do pull out a rather large one, its easy to break it in two with my hands :)

Our puppy LOVES these treats. They're her biggest motivator during our training sessions. They smell quite good, although the smell does linger on your hand even after washing. The size is great for extended training with our 2 month old Goldendoodle, but I do notice that our pup hits the water bowl pretty hard after a handful of these, so make sure fresh water is readily available. DO NOT leave these treats out, as they get hard and become quite difficult for a puppy to handle. I recommend putting them in an air tight container or ensuing all of the air is out of the bag between uses to avoid hardness. They're pretty expensive for a 10oz bag, but we'll likely continue to purchase given how effective they are with our pup.
