So many ProTrek models & prices!  What's the difference betw. PRG260 &270 and PAG80 &240?  Do they all have "Triple Sensor v3" & "Tough Solar"?  Thx.

JC, I enjoy these watches,use them and have researched them. All the models you asked about feature the tough solar label. Only one of those watches you asked about has tough solar and version 3 sensor combined-the PRG 270. I know the 270 model,own it and use in the mountains of northern NH. I own older Protreks too. The version 3 sensor is nice and fast. It quickly updates my altitude changes. This may or may not be important to you. All these Protreks are darn good. Keith

Do you have to remove the watch to get an accurate temperature reading, like the SGW-100 I have?

Try this: leave the watch on for a few hours, so that it gets used to your body temperature. While it is still on your wrist, adjust the temperature reading of the watch to match the air temperature of your surroundings. I think you will find that it will now accurately read the surrounding air temperature. I did this many months ago, and I have found that it is very accurate! So you don't have to remove the watch at all!!

The light on the watch comes on at night when I turn my wrist or move my hand is that normal?

That is normal if you have the Auto EL backlight setting on. It is on when there is an "LT" shown in th bottom LHS of the screen.  It uses a tilt sensor to detect when the watch moves more than 40degrees to turn on the backlight.  If you want to turn off this function, hold down the Light button until the LT disappears from the display.

Does this watch store temperatures for 24 hours
