It's the brand-new Kohler part for our 22 year old shower!
Out local plumbing suppling supply store (the one that all the professional plumbers go to get parts) didn't have one, and didn't know if they could get one. But Amazon had it, and for less that I know I would have had to pay at the local store. Easy to install.

Took awhile to find the parts we needed!
I had searched the internet for months ordering parts I thought would fit our shower. I had to replace the know and face plate but couldn't get the correct match. I finally found this and it was exactly what I needed. Replacing an older one has been hard to find parts. So happy I did!

No screws with the plate
Does not come with the necessary screws

Buy Screws from Kohler's Website
It's nice but it doesn't come with anything. If you aren't able to reuse the screws from the trim (mine broke) the buy the specific screws from Kohler's Website rather than trying to find a 10-24 threaded screw that's 2 3/8" (-ish) in length. We tried to install it with a shorter screw we purchased from Lowes and ended up having to break the trim to remove the screws after they bent. So overall it's fine but a pain to find compatible screws to actually install it.
