RecPro RV 2-Stage Auto Changeover Propane Regulator w/Hose

This changeover/regulator works as described and seems to be well made. I am happy with the fast delivery time, the quality, and price. It was easy to connect to my camper and is working perfectly. I am a happy customer.

This was exactly what I needed to replace my previous switch and regulator. Easy to change out and the bracket fit perfectly for my dual tank system. All factory fittings were leak free when I tested them.

Well it worked for almost one year. Just bought another, let's see how long it lasts!! Worked well when needed, but do these out this often?

Bought this Dec 2025 ON March 7 2026 it blew out and was pouring gas out where the window of it WAS but is no more. If we had not been working in the yard this might have been a disaster!!! JUNK JUNK JUNK

Edit: Do not buy. The hoses failed in the weirdest way possible. They filed somewhere in the actual hose. Not any of the joint. The actual hoses. Freaking crazy. Also, after testing way more, my issues with the fridge returned after a while and the regulator stopped regulating. I spent good money on a Camco Olympian (UPC 014717590051) regulator and hoses(UPC 014717590730). Hopefully this $150 purchase(from my hardware store) actually works longer than a month. Yes, the brand new looking hose in the picture leaks .... Nuts. I have been having issues with my propane appliances in my camper since we first got it. Basically, when the water heater, oven or furnace was used, the fridge would have issues running propane or the water heater would have issues igniting. I order some no name regulator. I still continued to have issues. Same issues. Finally got a monometer and checked the pressure. It was right around 11 inh20. That was fine. Doug around a bit and tried increasing the pressure, no go. Finally I got smart and checked the pressure with multiple appliances on. Pressure dropped way below 9. It was self adjusting under load. Replaced that crappy regulator with this recpro unit and haven't had an issue since. I worked around a crappy regulator for years. So dumb. Also, everything is tight on this unit with zero leaks from the factory and visible sealant around the tank leads. For the money, it does its job well.

We bought this for our vintage Motorhome to replace the ancient one that is no longer safe to use. This worked great with some adjustments to mount it in the propane locker. Good value and good quality item.

Excellent piece of equipment BUT you have to make sure you have the correct fitting for your gas cylinders. This has American QCC1 fittings. It’s not clear in the advert. This is available with the correct fittings for UK (POL left hand thread). But a lot more expensive. I bought POL to QCC1 adapters.

Works exactly as explained in directions. Simple instalation.
