There are a lot of gadgets and clothing things available for post surgery life, but this shirt has been a real benefit. Well made and great value for the money. I bought a second one when I realized how useful the first one was. Easy to wear and you can layer it under other zip-front tops. The interior pockets make drain storage/holding easy and much more comfortable than pinning. Mine did not shrink and it’s been durable.

A life saver during my recovery. Well worth the cost. It made dealing with drains so much more bearable. I purchased two. Slept with them on and wore them daily. They washed and dried well and were comfortable and soft. Well made. Fit well.

This top has made recovery so much easier! 2 small pockets inside to hold the bulbs, then 2 large pockets inside to hold the vacuum. No safety pins or wearing things over my neck. Sleeping with it is easy, I just shift the top over, so I'm not sleeping on the external stuff. Also has 2 pockets like a hoody on the outside, so handy for my phone. .I highly recommend getting at least two, so you have one to wear while washing the other. It's nice enough to wear out and comfortable to sleep in. I went up a size for the bulkiness of the vacuum pump, and glad I did, gave me more room to shift it over so I'm not sleeping on anything. Having the zipper is much easier than buttons. This is a game changer making recovery so much easier! Consider donating it to the surgeons office when you're done for low income people

If you are shopping for this bc of breast cancer - I am so sorry you are going though that. I want you to know that you will be ok. Right now it doesn't feel like it - at all - but you will get there. It will be hard, but you are strong and can do hard things. I am almost 1 year out from my initial diagnosis and have come such a long way from that moment. You will be ok. Now-on to my review! This shirt was really helpful to have. It was so soft - which I really needed at the time. The zipper front was necessary post surgery as I couldn't lift my arms above my head while the drains were in. Ug--the drains! They were annoying and at times but weren't as bad as I thought they'd be and at other times I hated them so much and could not wait to get them out! The pockets for the drains were perfect when I was able to wear other bras that didn't have the clips like the one they sent me home in. I am 5'4 and 125 lbs and the small fit well. It was a bit loose but I needed it to be. I bought 2 shirts and just rotated through them. I also used it when I went in for my 2nd stage reconstruction. I didn't need it as much for the second surgery, but I was glad to have it. The softness was key in all of the unpleasantness this diagnosis brings. We purchased this top for our mother's post mastectomy recovery. It is very soft and comfortable. It has snaps on the shoulders and a zipper down the front and both sides. Inside pockets are handy for drain bulbs. She wears this top daily, and we ordered it in 3 colors. This is machine washable, but we hang it to dry to avoid shrinking. Money well spent!

I’m having breast implant removal surgery/explant in a couple of weeks because the toxins are making me ill. I know from prior surgeries how hard it is to manage the drains and how important a front zip top is. (Buttons are entirely ridiculous for someone who is supposed to be keeping her elbows at her sides.) This fabric offers more coverage than I expected. It’s a very soft and stretchy, almost plush, but definitely a more substantial fabric than a tee shirt. I’m grateful for its thickness. The garment is well constructed with seams and stitches of uniform length and tautness. There are two different size interior pockets on each side. I put two small avocados in the larger pockets to mimic drain pouches, though they are bigger and heavier than drain pouches would be. They did not drag down the garment too much in front, and it kept its shape. I also appreciate the margin of fabric inside, next to the zipper, so that no skin or drain lines would get pinched by the zipper. My chest measures 45 1/2 inches, and a Large fits. There is a lot of room for my 42” hips, but that extra space will help camouflage my drain pouches. My surgery is out of town, so I need something to wear on public transport for the three and a half hour journey home. I just ordered another of these in black for that trip. I think that with black pants and my favorite scarf, I’ll look stylish and no one will know I’m bandaged underneath and smuggling surgical drains. I highly recommend this top for the quality, functionality, and comfort. (I’m wearing it now!)

Really useful and looks great-- wore this A LOT post mastectomy and loved it. Drain pockets are discreet, fit perfectly, and super comfy.
