Beautiful and functional
Actually, the installation of the speaker wire into the Nakamichi Spade Y Banana Plug (why is it called a banana plug when it's just a split Y?) ñààwas very straightforward. There are 2 important things to remember: the first is to make sure you strip enough of the insulation so have the appropriate amount of exposed wire inside the device, and second, do NOT remove the screws from the device - leave them in the screw holes in. These things make otherwise you'll go crazy trying to get them back in while trying to keep your speaker wire in place. Once the speaker wires are in the device you can and hook them to the speaker terminal posts much easier than doing it with bare wire, giving you a more positive connection and if you change speakers it's just as easy. Yes, the Nakamichis are on the expensive side but you get what you paid for: high quality craftsmanship and materials and very aesthetically pleasing.

Excellent speaker connectors!
Thick gauge, gold plated for optimum signal contact with speaker connectors. No noise, pristine sound. I'd buy this again!

Attached easily and works like the original pin type.
Worked great. I bought the Nakamichi wires I needed to hook up my 1970's Warfdale speakers to a new Marantz system but had to swap out one end for forks. These unscrewed and attached and works like the factory original pin type (only needed the pin on one end). If you want to hook up older speakers, this is the way to go.

Validi, fanno bene il loro dovere. Alcuni consigli: le viti sono piccole, meglio un cacciavite da orologiaio. Il cavo deve essere spellato per circa 15 mm. Non svitatele fino in fondo, se cadono sono difficili da ritrovare, io ho lavorato sopra un panno nero e con buona luce. Io le ho usate sul cavo per diffusori Nakamici che è terminato con banane e mi servivano le forcelle.
