The Hack Golfers "Swiss Army Knife"
Okay!!! Hack golfers everywhere, listen up! If you find that you have trouble with those close up chip shots with your wedges! ( can't hit a lob wedge to save your life )....or do you often find yourself deep in the "giggle weed" with a seemingly impossible lie! ( where you know you should listen to your buddies and just take the stroke and drop out....but your EGO refuses to say die!!! ) Well my friends, THIS is the club for YOU!!!This thing is the Swiss Army knife of golf clubs!!! If you've got like a 3 handicap...then you probably don't really need a club like this, now do you? But if you are a true Hack Golfer ( like myself )! Then this is a Must Have for your golf arsenal! Up around the green, I swing it like I swing my putter. This works out quite well for me since I use a mallet head putter anyway! Yes...I too have used it in the sand as well! Particularly in hard packed crunchy sand, where my hybrid sand wedge doesn't perform as well! But , my absolute favorite use for this club is....( wait for it )....From DEEP ROUGH and TALL WEEDS!!! YES!!! We've ALL been there, Right? Time and time again I have found myself deep into the tall grass or heather. My companions snickering as they suggest that I spare myself the embarrassment and just drop one and take the stroke. Like Hell!!! I just smile, reach in my bag, and pull out the old "Hatchet" ....and why do I call it that? Cause this thing cuts thru deep grass like a hatchet thru wood! I'm no scientist, but I understand enough to get that by the design of the club head they have shifted the center of gravity further back just like any other hybrid iron or wedge. This helps stabilize the club head thru the swing, add to that the overall weight of the club head and the design and angle of the club face.....add a good strong swing (like I swing a 6 or 7 iron) and if everything falls into place (which for me seems to be about 70% of the time) BLAM....I blast it out...and usually a good 60 yards or more back out onto the fairway! Then I'm the one doing the snickering!!!However....In all fairness...it does take some getting use to! Like the force....it is powerful young jedi....and must be wielded with caution and respect, or it will turn on you....and with little effort at all, you can send the ball a whole lot further than you planned....or even thought possible!I could go on and on about how great this club is...but....in the end....it's only my opinion! Buy one and decide for yourself...It's only $25....if you can't afford that...then you probably shouldn't be playing golf in the first place! I usually have to pay at least that much just to play a round anyway! And by the way, this is my second one! A jealous fellow golfer STOLE my first one!!!!

Nice chipper helper!
This has been a fun club to use for chipping. I’m not great at chipping and this make me look like I know what I’m doing!

Great purchase
Not one to write reviews, but I’m making an exception here. Used it for the first time today. Usually shoot around 45-48 for nine. Shot a 42. It literally took 4-5 strokes off my card for nine.Best golf purchase I ever made. (Unless I shoot a 50 next round, then I’ll write another review)

Great chipper until it breaks
I've purchased this exact same chipper twice now. It works great until it breaks. Both times it broke where the club head meets the shaft. I never swing this club hard. I only use it for short chips around the fringe. I play about once a week and both times it lasted for about 2.5 years.

Seemingly good for price.
For the money this feels like a serviceable chipper. There’s many different ways to hit it so you just have to figure out the best way. You can do a little shaft lean to square up and hit lower, or open it up more to get it in the air.

Great Texas Wedge!!
I love this chipper. Some would call it a Texas wedge. They’d be correct. It makes chipping it onto the green a breeze. The grip is very grippy. The length is perfect. It feels like a quality club. It hits like a putter. The balance feels nice too. I’m a 1 handed golfer so weight and grip are important to me. This club is my new go-too club for short chips onto the green.

Great Club With Questionable Design
I love this club! After practicing with it a bit…it greatly improved my success around the green (understatement). Unfortunately…after using it for a relatively short amount of time (maybe 15-20 rounds)…the head…while using it came flying off. It broke clean away from the shaft. Reading reviews here…I see it’s happened to a number of other people too. It seems that the narrow “cast” aluminum(?) where the head meets the shaft is either a poor design or randomly flawed while manufacturing. That said…I purchased another hoping this one will last. 🙏🤞. I will not be buying a third.

Straight shots, but quality control could be better
Arrived on time and was well packaged so no bent shaft. It will take some practice to get distances right but love how straight my shots are with this chipper. No doubt you get what you pay for as there were a number of what I assume are moulding defects on the toe of the club. (see photo). They don’t impact on how it works so I will live with them, but if you are considering this club be prepared for it to be in less than perfect condition on arrival.

Great for around the green
Works great

Great chipper. Works better than expected.
I love this chipper. It has improved my game tremendously for all those shots I used to mess up.
