Poyet Motte Aurora 700GSM 100% Virgin Wool Blanket, Extreme Heavyweight, Machine Washable, Twin Size, Natural

This is a well-made blanket and isn't very rough for a wool blanket. It's a bit big for my queen size bed. I sleep a little hot, and with the temperature at 65°F, the 700 gsm is a little too warm for me. I'll be buying the 450 gsm version, but would recommend the heavier one for people who need extra warmth or keep their homes even colder

Beautiful ivory color. Queen is huge. I do lay it sideways so it hangs down longer on sides. Sad it didn't have that beautiful wool smell. I guess people complain and ruin it for everyone. I want that lanolin smell, I know it is what gives wool the antimicrobial properties and superior moisture control. Polyester blankets I must wash 2 times a month. I only way real wool once a season. Didn't seem 700, more like 600

Too heavy and stiff. However it is large enough for King size bed and very warm. It is a good winter blanket, but will be too warm for summer.

So pleased with this blanket, worth every penny. Looking forward to a snowy night.

This blanket is very generous in Size and heavy. I love the weigh on me when I sleep.

Very nice thick wool blanket. Unlike other wool blankets I've owned it has a fuzzy surface texture the hair fiber are not tightly bound, so it does pill a bit. Smell is fine. Unfortunately shipping has left creases in the blanket where it was folded, the blanket has felted together, these creases do not appear to go away with time and handling. So it will never be uniformly smooth. Perhaps it got crushed somewhere in transit.

Supper wonderful and good quality. It keep me warm at night.
