Kids' Trail Chaser 2

True to size, great durability and fit! We bought a pair last year as well, they have great longevity through a school year. Made for gym classes, play and everyday wear. Excellent quality as well.

My daughter loves these. She says they are a comfortable fit. Seem very durable and will serve her well in rainy seasons. The colors are also beautiful.

My son has worn these shoes since the beginning of the school year and they still look great and have traction left. My son is extremely active and usually burns through shoes quickly. I will be buying these again for him when he needs another pair.

My son is horribly hard on shoes. So far, these shoes are holding up! Reccomend.

Is your child rough on their shoes? If so, look no further! These shoes have been amazing for my child whoo is super tough on their clothes and shoes. Although my child is a slow grower, these shoes, velcro and all, outlasted my child's roughness before needing to be replaced for the next size. Thank you Merrell for producing such an amazing shoe for super active kids!

My mom has tiny feet and Big Kid 2 fits her. She has been a huge fan of Jungle Moc (black leather) for years while she was working. Now that she is retired, I thought I would venture out to a different style, but sticking to the same heel style knowing she doesn't lift up her feet to walk anymore (due to aging). I didn't want her tripping over.She loves these! She doesn't have to tie ahoe laces that dangle. Just unfastens the Velcro at the top to in/out. She is getting a lot of compliments at her gym for functionality and color. She loves the attention! 😊

These shoes are so stylish and well made, my daughter loves them...and she can be VERY picky! For starters, the color on these shoes is great. It's vibrant and stylish and I love the gray mixed in with the brighter colors. It is hard to find shoes that have this type of closure for kids and I think the design is great because they have laces, but nothing needs to be tied. They look like grown up shoes, without the hassle of having to wait for kids to tie them every time. The Velcro closures are enough to keep the shoe secure but, since they are paired with the laces, they don't make the shoes look like they are for little kids. The back of the shoes have loops which is great for carrying them and/or securing them to a backpack (with a carabiner clip if necessary which is what we do). The soles of the shoes have a lot of grip which provides a ton of traction, even on slippery surfaces. My daughter is currently in size 2 shoes but the size 3's I ordered here fit good still with room to grow so I would say these fit TTS but it's OK to size up 1 size to get more use out of them since they secure easily with enough support thanks to the Velcro strap. These shoes get 5 stars from both myself and my daughter! Merrell is a brand we love and trust and these shoes are no exception. We would recommend them for sure!
