Petrichor Nest Thermostat Wall Plate - Compatible With Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen) - Trim Kit, Cover Accessory for Easy Installation

This plate is just a bit larger than the original plate for the NEST Gen2 that my new Gen4 replaced. I like it better than the oval that came with the Gen4, it's size means I didn't have to do any wall touch-up from the old plate.

Relatively easy install if you own a tool set and use it. Had some questions with my unit, called customer service of nest and they were able to help me figure it out and make it work.

Have had these in all my homes. They are the best. Don’t buy the cheap ones.

This wall plate didn't work for me, so I must have the wrong Nest. I thought I had confirmed that I had the right one before ordering.

Great product. After 2 weeks it has learned our habits. Dont have yo adjust as often.

DON’T BUY THIS!! The seller claims it is compatible with the 4th generation Google Nest thermostat but it is not! The holes in the wall plate are in the wrong place, they are too far apart. I had to drill two new holes through the plastic in order to mount my new 4th generation Google Nest thermostat. Buy from some other seller if you don’t want to have to drill holes.

Works amazing with the 4th gen nest thermostat.

Easy to install. It replaced my generation 2 Nest. I had to get a bigger back plate because the new one was smaller and a different shape from the old one.
