I had a gap at the top stair where the steps were carpeted but the landing was tiled, and nothing I could find would cover the gap and look nice until I found this. I did have to cut a 45 in the corner to go around the inside corner, but even hat came out really nice. The tacky strip is not real sticky and it still wobbles a bit, so I'd recommend using some kind of caulk or silicone to set it in place.

Very pleased with this product! It will ensure more safety with my front door step and prevent wood edge wear.

I have a tiled floor that steps down into my Arizona room. This single step takes a lot of abuse. Some of the tile edging got slightly chipped during our move. Enter this stair nosing—it not only reinforces the step so the tile is no longer getting fleabite chips, but it also adds traction and makes it easier to see the edge of the step. I wish it were a bit longer as my tile step is longer than 36” but I’ll just use a large piece to cover the middle and then carefully join a smaller piece on each side. So far everything is working great. It is a nice, inexpensive fix that resolves a lot of issues and makes the star step safer for me and my guests. Works great for me. Hope it works for you too!!!
