Delicious and unique
This Dubai chocolate bar is a real treat. The combination of pistachios and shredded phyllo dough gives it a delightful crunch and flavour. It’s a perfect mix of creamy white chocolate and nutty goodness, making it a must-try for chocolate lovers.

Tastes ok but hard shell included!
I didn’t mind the taste and texture of the chocolate bar - although it was quite messy due to the soft contents squashing out when breaking off a piece. All was going ok until I almost broke a tooth on what I think is a bit of pistachio shell - whatever it is, it’s too hard to break.

Deep filled chocolate slab
Never heard of this chocolate before ordering but after receiving it appears I’m well out of the loop to what’s popular and a must buy item for Christmas. The chocolate is nicely presented in a firing box, like a jigsaw style box with top lift off lid and base. The box is factory sealed with tamperproof stickers. The chocolate inside is in a cellophane wrap to keep its freshness. As pistachio is my favourite nut, I was very eager to try this and so pleased I did as it was delicious, hard crisp white chocolate exterior and filled with pistachio creamy butter with a distinctive texture. This distinctive texture was creamy with splintered candy throughout, tiny shreds of candy the size of wood splinters yiu would get in your finger from the garden. Very unique and very tasty. I loved this chocolate, the taste and texture and was just about to repurchase myself a treat for the cinema visit, gasps at the price. Acceptable for a gift but not a cinema treat snack.

Fun to bite, crunchy and different
This chocolate bar won’t be for everybody, especially not in the white chocolate version. But while it maybe doesn’t deserve all of its internet-famous status (and corresponding high price tag), it is definitely a high quality product, and both a delicious and novel taste. The gooey, baklava-tasting filling is generous and gooey, making it quite a sticky experience overall, regardless of whether it’s been in the fridge or not. The innards ooze out in a way that might be a bit offputting, especially thanks to the green colour which isn’t common in chocolate bars. The flavour is fairly mild, and fairly straightforward pistachio flavour, but it’s the crunchy texture that really makes it interesting. Imagine the mix of chocolate and crunch you get from something like a Smarties or M&Ms chocolate bar (the bar, not the individual sweets), then double that crunch, and you’re in the right area. It’s satisfying, and almost as noisy as some popping candy when you bite it. It’s actually quite fun to eat. For me, the white chocolate version of this bar didn’t work quite as well as the milk chocolate version I tried before. Without the cocoa, the chocolate shell seems slightly softer, even at fridge temperature, as though it’s got a very slight case of the Cadburys-vegetable-oil problem. Therefore the contrast between the sharp snap of the chocolate outer and the crunchy goo inside isn’t as pronounced. If I were to get one of these again, it would be the milk chocolate version. But I would be happy to eat another one. However, at twenty quid for an eight-piece block, there’s no way I can give this five stars for value-for-money. A fairly smart presentation box (albeit with some ugly sticker seals on) doesn’t help to justify such a high price for a single chocolate bar, and while this is definitely good quality, there’s no way it’s two-quid-fifty-per-chunk good.

Bit messy to eat, but absolutely delicious
I ordered this Dubai chocolate bar after having been interested in them when they initially became popular in the UK. The bar arrived in a lovely presentable box, and was wrapped in cellophane inside that box. The bar I recieved was in perfect condition, and ready to eat. A suggested portion is one square, although it's not the easiest bar to break into pieces without the contents spilling out, so it mught be best to pop it in the fridge to chill before trying to break it. Flavour wise it really is something else, I was innitially intending to share it with my children, but having tasted it I've decided I'm going to ration it out and eat the whole bar myself, it really is that nice. Overall it tastes amazing, but its messy and hard to portion into single squares, it's very nicely presented, and giftable, and I'm very happy to recommend it.

Eastanbul Dubai Chocolate Bar
This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it. It comes well-presented in the box, and actually has a decent amount of weight to it. I was a little bit less impressed by the consistency of the bar, though - despite it having square 'chunks', I wasn't able to portion up the chocolate this way; it just felt soggy and crumbled in my hands. I was sort of left with no option but to bite into it and hope that I didn't make a mess. Not ideal. As for the flavour, it was a bit too 'oily' for my liking. This was disappointing, since I do like both white chocolate and pistachios. The oiliness might explain why the bar felt so soggy in the first place. Of course, I appreciate that taste is subjective, and it is also possible that my bar was not in the best condition it could have been, so mileage may vary. An interesting item, just not the right one for me.

delicious.
2 caveats here, 1. the price is ridiculous but it's imported and i gather quite trendy currently. 2. it's quite a delicate product that seems to be hard to arrive completely unsquashed. if you can live with those two things then onto the product. this is a lovely chocolate bar. I love pistachio in sweets and this really hits the spot. the phyllo dough adds a unique experience in both tactile and flavour sensory experiences. the white chocolate also sets it apart from its milk chocolate version but both are very good. because it's filled a 200g bar is not as big as you may think and it's easy to eat your way through it quickly especially when sharing. but the moment while fleeting is very enjoyable.
