Riedel 0414/02 O Wine Tumbler, Set of 4, Clear

I have had these glasses for almost a year now. When I first received them, I was concerned about how thin they seemed; I was worried I was going to fracture them with the simplest impact. However, these glasses have proven to be incredibly durable. In fact, last night I dropped one on my wood floor, accidentally, expecting the worst. However, no harm came to the glass at all! This is what has prompted me to write this review. In addition, I do have to say these glasses continue to look amazing after many dishwasher runs. They are used as multi-purpose glasses in my household and are great for water, wine, and cocktails/liquor.

These glasses are gorgeous in their simplicity. Nice thin crystal, great feel. I babied them at first by washing them by hand, but have been putting them in the dishwasher for months now. No cracks, chips or clouding so far. Thumbs up!

This is an elegant, minimalist drinking glass! We have had these for years, and when we needed another set there really was no other choice. The side and bottom are of the same thickness, which is quite thin. They appear delicate, which we like, but they are in fact quite sturdy. We use them every day, they go in the dishwasher year after year, and they remain clear and beautiful.

These are beautiful glasses. They are very thin and fragile, so I wouldn’t recommend buying them for everyday use. Be sure to read the dimensions before purchasing—they are a bit larger than normal rocks glasses!

The best glass you can find, for the thinness of the glass and the representation of a perfect circle at the top, which you will not get tired of contemplating. Best for the simple enjoyment of water.

These are rather fragile glasses, so I ordered a set of 4 as replacements. They arrived without damage, thanks to well done product and shhipping packaging. My only disappointment is that one of the glasses appears to have slipped through the factory quality check--the rim has the appearance of having been chipped or otherwise damaged in the production process and then smoothed out. My experience has been higher quality from Riedel.

A very classy vessel for water, juice or beer. The thin wall construction makes it a real pleasure to use. For long drinks, I won’t use any other.

Great aesthetic, feel against your mouth. Thickness is (not surprisingly) that of a wine glass so if you are looking for a heavy glass experience, this isn’t for you. That being said, they are really smart looking and look great with everything we’ve put in them so far
