Got a very nice full suspension bike for a good price, and part of that good price was cheap brakes. Did my usual too-much research, decided on these Magura’s and Oh My Gosh. I’m a big guy, so more brake is better, and this is a LOT of brake. Two pistons and a big pad clamp like a vice and don’t let go. We’ve got a great downhill park in our area and even on the longest twistiest switchback section there is zero fade and easy modulation with minimal finger pressure. Installation was a breeze, but I did take it to the shop to get the hoses shortened (Rode with them zip-tied for a year, lol). I couldn’t be happier with these, thanks Magura!

Bought this as an upgrade to the stock brakes on my Specialized Camber Comp Pro 29". The Formula C1 were always basic disc brakes and I knew there were much better options out there. After reading various reviews I decided to go with the Magura MT7 Pro disc brakes with the matching rotors. If you follow the YouTube instructions on how to install without having to bleed it will go super smooth. Make sure you take your time and are working in an area where if you drop something you can quickly find it. Make sure you have all the parts you need if your factory brakes and shifters are integrated. I was able to use the existing caliper adapter on the Maguras so that saved a little money. Once I switched out the rotor and the brakes I took it around the block for a quick spin. I can say just right off the bat they are a huge upgrade. They have a better feel to them and definitely have stopping power. Can't wait to break them in a little more before I hit the local trails. So far they feel like a great investmement.

Broke the first day and Magura had zero interest in making it right. I would avoid the brand. Poor quality and service.

The modulation is easy, the brakes are powerful enough to use with one finger, and the lever pull is consistent, smooth, and provides feedback on the limit of traction. Magura cut their teeth on motorcycle brakes and it shows. The MT7 four piston calipers are brake-torque monsters and do their job on a downhill course. Unlike the MT5s' plastic levers, the MT7s have aluminum levers for better durability. Unfortunately the plastic master cylinders feel cheap and the threads for the fill plugs are also plastic- a disappointment at this price point. Buy a Magura-specific bleed kit available from many vendors here on Amazon. Do not attempt to DIY bleed these without the kit, these brakes are notoriously difficult to bleed due to the small reservoir volume and you will exert more effort and frustration trying to save the $30 that the bleeder kit is worth.

Awesome brakes! I put these on my 20 X 4 Wheeled Ebike! The best upgrade you can get! Stops on a Dime!...Easy to use and on hands....works exactly how they are designed...I'll get more of these on my other bikes!!....A new Magura Fan!!!!!

These brakes are awesome. I upgraded from Shimano Deores and these are exponentially better. Installation was fairly easy but I did need help bleeding them properly. The feel of the levers is the thing I like the most. You know exactly how much force you are putting to the rotors. Modulation is very easy. And when you need to stop, it does so quickly with one finger. I haven't even played around with the lever settings yet. I don't have a single thing negative to say yet. These are one of the best upgrades I've made. If I do find any faults I'll come back and edit this.

Found a good day, cheaper than most bike shops. Not near any local bike shops to support the local shops. I really like the few of the brake handle. Feels amazing. Plus the name, they are a great brake system. I really like the these. My firs set of Magura brakes. Big fan. I highly recommend these and the seller.

Bei Magura Bremse kannst du einfach die Leitung (nach Anleitung) kürzen ohne die Bremse zu entlüften. Ist jetzt schon die 3. eingebaute MT7!

acquistato per sostituire un mt5 sull'anteriore e davvero contento dell'acquisto, impianto molto potente e modulabile, montato senza problemi (va comunque spurgato). Nonostante prezzo non proprio basso ma vale la spesa.
