The RØDE Wireless Micro is one of those upgrades that makes you realize how bad your audio used to be… but in a very respectful, non-judgmental way. Right out the case, everything feels clean and intentional. The charging case is compact, easy to carry, and keeps both mics ready to go without any messy cable situation. You basically open it and you’re already halfway to sounding professional. Pairing with my phone was quick—no tech wrestling match, no long “why isn’t this connecting” spiral. Just connect and start recording. That alone is worth points. Audio quality is where it really shows off. Voices come through crisp and clear, with that polished sound you usually only get from much bulkier setups. Whether you’re filming content, doing interviews, or just trying to sound like you know what you’re talking about, it delivers. The dual mics are a big win too. Perfect for conversations, interviews, or anytime you don’t want one person sounding like they’re speaking from another dimension. From a grown perspective: this is a “small tool, big upgrade” situation. It doesn’t take up space, it doesn’t complicate your setup, and it instantly makes your content feel more professional. Battery life is solid for its size, and the whole system feels designed for people who actually want to record, not troubleshoot. DO NOT BUY! I have found this microphone set to be unreliable while recording audio for my channel. I've only had it 2 months and it will suddenly stop recording even with a full charge. On 3 occasions it recorded a mechanical choppy sound for audio unexpectedly and then went back to recording normal. This is unacceptable. I've used microphones for $20 that had better sound quality, noise cancelling and did not ever record poorly. This device has failed to provide the quality I had expected for this brand. CS has been no help at all. The noise cancelling feature on this set is subpar and hollow. I am VERY unhappy with this purchase and DO NOT Recommend this unit at all. The quality is poor overall and it's just not worth the price at all.

*Read all the way through...several updates. When the mics work, they have decent sound quality and are good for blocking wind noise. However, they're unreliable, and seem to not connect for no apparent reason. And it's not obvious that they haven't connected until you find out you have a silent video. Edit to add: only one side of the case charges. So I always have one dead mic. I have to remember to switch the two mics so they’ll both charge. This was what caused my connectivity issues before, since I failed to look for the blinking green LED indicating that I had the working mic. Edit to add: This Rode product comes with a 5-year warranty. I sent an email to Rode and explained what the problem was. I got an immediate response asking me to register the product (I should have done that when I first got it) and send a video to them showing the problem. I exchanged several emails over the next few hours, and got an RMA and an address to send it to for repair/replacement in California. Sent it off yesterday and they'll have it in 3 days. We shall see what happens next! Edit: I sent the item back to Røde and a week later, it was returned to me with a new charging case. Both microphones now charge the way they should! Excellent customer service. I don’t know how often these defects occur, but stuff happens. They stand behind their product.

Normally I don’t like to leave reviews. This product plus the FREE wireless camera receiver perfectly meets my needs as an in-person yoga instructor. Stand alone, I could not get these mics (TX) to send sound through the iPhone receiver (RX) to my Bose Soundlink Mini II speaker. But Steve S. at Rode customer service told me I could get a FREE wireless camera receiver (CRX), when I registered my purchase at their website, that would allow me to do just that…and it did! I’m able to send both yoga music and my voice through the two mics simultaneously to my speaker. And this FREE camera receiver is not junk they’re trying to get rid of, it was released July 2025 in response to the competition. Wow, a company that actually cares about keeping their customers over the almighty dollar. If you’re interested, do a little research into Rode; they sound like an upstanding ethical company to me. Anyways, they’re keeping me as a customer 😊

Great mic for iphone, Works absolutely fabulously. Must for any content creater. This and type c adapter and it works with go pro as well as dji cameras and other type c and lighting ports

Best mobile mic I ever used. I have a quiet and relatively soft voice, and have struggled to find a mic that doesn’t confuse my voice with background noise 😂 This one is brilliant. I use it to record UGC content in public places like parks and coffee shops, the little fluffy thingy does a great job at canceling noise.
