These books was exactly what I was hoping for. However, the item I received was not the one stated. The one I received was a box set with the hobbit included. Very satisfied.

great book last read years ago more quite different from the films which are like an abridged version good though

Haven’t finished 1st book yet but it’s very good so far, got me back into reading regularly.

I am not gonna review the LOTR trilogy as I am die hard fan, I would be too biased. Instead, this review is about this edition of Harper Collins. It is a paperback edition, the quality of pages is similar to that of any standard paper back. As the stories are long so a bit of wear and tear is understandable while you are going through the books. I bought it for my kids, so had more of folded cover pages than I would have preferred ... :). I have taken a star off as the print is a bit smaller than I would have preferred. For other interested buyers, I have put in few pics to give them an idea. As a comparison, I took a pic of both LOTR3 and Hobbit for better comparison.

They were a present for a teenage relative who requested them so I assume they are what he wanted.

Well made paperbacks that were a fantastic gift for my friend. They look exactly like the photo, and were nice for the price.

El boxset está precioso, llegó en perfectas condiciones y definitivamente luce muy bien en cualquier espacio : ) Sólo como advertencia: La protección de envío para el boxset no es muy buena, tan sólo viene en una caja (ligeramente más grande que el boxset en sí) y envuelto en plástico y ya; sin burbujas de aire ni nada; yo tuve la suerte de que llegó muy bien, pero es probable que en otras ocasiones haya daños por el empaque tan barato : / Sólo como observación a tener en cuenta. Fuera de eso, cómo ya dije, es una edición muy linda.

La verdad al leer los comentarios esperaba que no me convenciera la edición pero afortunadamente me equivoqué. Los libros son de buen tamaño, las hojas son finas pero lo suficientemente densas para no preocuparse tanto. En cuanto al envío, el paquete llegó al 100%
