if you are into technology i guess you will enjoy it for a while
... if you are into technology i guess you will enjoy it for a while... if you are a girl like me you will find out after some use that the watch is rather bulky for a thin wrist like mine. also.. i find it a bit inconvenient to have to click the side button to read the time. the time does not always show automatically when you pull your arm up and it is a bit impractical to have to be exaggerating the motion just to read the time... having said that, i guess i like the fact i can play with the camera, pick up calls and play with voice command... its cool for a while.... but if you are looking to just purchase a watch you will wear all the time, i would have to say this might not be what you are looking for.

My first smartwatch
o))) 2️⃣☠️📣💣💥my first smart watch it was great and it was cool and operated quiet nice the camera was sneaky and the functions were flawless but now i moved on to a new on a permanent on that is powered by my own body heat that doesn't need a battery or need charging so yeah ive upgraded to something that wont have expensive apps or things but simple stuff as long as it has a power bar, steps, T i m e , and what other features they decided to add into the power watch im buying so good luck with this watch its a great starter for you and wish you the best,

Good Hardware, Poor Software. But becoming to fun toy after Rooting
Good looking smart watch, but stock ROM function and available apps are very poor, boring, almost useless. Worst of all, it cannot coexist with bluetooth headset same time. If you are tech advanced, root it, and install custom ROM to make it fun toy. Galaxy Gear is the only descent quality non android wear android watch equipped built-in camera, mic, and speaker so it's capable to run 3rd party camera apps like keep picture in horizontal position, scanner apps for visual memo pad, music title finder like Shazam, and google now voice command instead of useless s-voice after rooting. Also it can connect to non samsung smart phones. My value is 2 stars by stock ROM, 4 stars by custom ROM. If you won't root it, Sony Smartwatch 2 is cheaper, more useful apps, and practical.

Fun and useful
These have dropped in price now that v2 is out. At $179 with free shipping on Prime, I couldn't resist. I recently switched from my ancient iPhone 3GS to the Android world and got a Samsung Note 3. I really like my Note, but it's size makes fishing it out of my pocket just a bit clumsier. Now I can see incoming calls and messages without have to get the phone. There is a little speakerphone in the wristband clasp. This is sometimes OK to use, but usually I prefer a bluetooth earpiece. The camera is fun for taking quick candid shots. I am still getting used to the whole voice-command thing, but I'm sure this will enhance that when I get there. I tried out the different watch faces, and ended up with the "shortcut" version. This has 3 settable application icons below the time. Right now I have: Daily Events Calendar Weather Call Logs (calls and text messages)The camera is easily brought up with a quick flick down gesture.The phone dial keypad with a quick flick up.You can easily switch audio to the phone or bluetooth headset, when you want to have a real conversation.I'm sure there are lots of fun things that can be done on this device. I am looking forward to more creative apps.Dislikes:Other functions require you to flick left/right through your other apps. I'd like more shortcuts that are 1 flick away.I have yet to figure out why/when it decides to aggregate my messages. It seems that if I get more than 1 or 2, it will not show me the messages on the phone, but will say "3 New messages" with my only option to "show on device" (the phone).Slightly chunky on my hand.

This watch is a really good dress watch
This watch is a really good dress watch! Let me reiterate, DRESS WATCH. I say this because its not waterproof, like at all! But thats the only thing that I have concerns about. But now onto the pros! Its a really great watch. Very responsive, very fun to use, and very useful. I have loved this thing ever since I got it! I haven't been using it for a while because I'm a diesel tech. And my industry needs tough, durable and waterproof devices. So thats why my everyday watch is a G-Shock. Because they are made and proven durable. But when I'm going out for dinner or hanging out with friends this is a great watch. Of course a newer version is out (which I have not even considered buying). But this one is still great. You can answer calls on it. Respond to texts. Look at emails, and a ton of other stuff. And of course there are a bunch of apps you can download for it. One even lets you change the face of the watch! So its a great buy! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below with any questions!
