First of all, every level is supported by 4 poles. The based is wide as well so this helps keep it it from tipping when they run from across the house and leap on it. I'm still a little worried about the top bed as it's only supported by one pole and I'm afraid they will pull it out of the socket like they've done with others, but we will see. It also has a nice braided strap to attach to the wall for additional security. The metal basket is supported by two poles instead of one, which means it doesn't sag and fold in half when they climb in and sleep. They love it and feel secure enough to use it. The cubby boxes have wide opening so even the chunkiest terrorist can crawl in and sleep with ease. For the first time ever, they are using this feature too! There's enough space on this tree to fit all seven of them comfortably while they chill with nippers (cat nip) and watch Bird TV on YouTube. I also really like the fact that several of the covers are removable for washing.
