I've used Aveeno soap since before there was an Amazon and it's safe for use on the entire body. Always check the labels on products and see where they are save and where they aren't.

Is this better to use than the body wash ?

It's a different product, the bar is made mostly out of oat flour while the body wash has oils and other ingredients. As a result the body wash moisturizes long after you shower while the soap bar does not; it boils down to preferences.
