LX60HD 1080p LED Portable Projector with Built-in Google TV, H/V Keystone, Auto Focus, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi for Smart Home Theater

Edit: Changed from 5* to 3* because the Google TV OS has started constantly crashing. I'm assuming they cut costs as much as they could. I ended up having to buy a Google TV Streamer to use instead of the native Google TV. We've purchased a couple of projectors in the $100-200 price range off Amazon that claimed to be much higher lumens but did not work as well when a bedside lamp was on. This projector works perfectly in a dark room, but is still visible if there's a bit of light. It comes with a Google TV device built in which saves you a bit of money. The built in speakers are serviceable.

The projector itself is great value for the buck, but when you're less than an arm's reach under it and the remote is struggling to connect despite giving it new batteries, it can get a little annoying. And if there is any way to just get a stronger or more consistent remote just let me know it's my only real gripe.

I compared several similar products and finally chose this one because it had the features I wanted. After using it, I’m very happy with the performance. Great value for the price.

EDIT: Reduced to two stars because there is no way to manually adjust both focus and screen ratio. You are basically stuck to the auto adjustment, which gets it wrong 80% of the time. If you get this projector, you are pretty much stuck to projecting "straight on" to your wall. Got this for a little over 200 $ for cyber Monday. Its "OK", but that is why I bought it. I have a small apartment to myself and I don't feel like adding more furniture to my floorspace. A projector seemed like the right move. Pros: Built in speakers. Can use Bluetooth speakers if you want. Multiple inputs if you want to hook a laptop up to it, etc. Cons: Bad in bright rooms (expected). Speakers are a bit weak (also expected). Not great if positioned at more than a slight angle, but it will try to autofocus as best as it can. Only goes to 1080p. Good for your own purposes. Bad for entertaining.

We purchased this device to create an in-home theater experience for the kids. The installation was easy, UI was intuitive to navigate through. We ran into some technical difficulties focusing on a white wall but the tech support helped tremendously and the issue is now fixed. Now we have an economical solution that can stream, connect to cable, youtube, bluetooth speaker with portability as well. Highly recommend!

Cannot link to any sound bar!!!? Lost this purchase. No box to return.

After months of regular use my opinion is that there are some things about this projector which are great and some things which are incredibly annoying. The projector has perfect resolution and brightness, color, sound quality, and even has bluetooth abilities so it can connect to a stereo. However I cannot get over just how unbelievably slow the interface is. It runs a google version of android which has most of the features necessary, but it is generally slow on every button push, menu change, loading apps, etc. Even though it runs android there is no control given to the user over the keystone OR focus adjustment, and these effects happen automatically without your consent. If there are settings that I have missed then I will come back and edit this review. This means that if you would like to adjust these effects or fix them so that they don't change then you have so way of doing so, and this is a problem because the automatic adjustment is not always perfect and is sometimes completely wrong if even a small object is in the feild of veiw. It is good for the most part, but since there is no user control over these things I find it extremely annoying with my setup.

Beware of auto play feature. It doesn't turn off the protector. And you can't do anything else while the feature is enabled.

This is my 3rd projector, many years ago I bought a second hand Polaroid 201 on Ebay, it was ok, LCD SVGA resolution but rather large and noisy. 2nd projector was an infocus IN26 which was smaller quieter in Eco mode and better resolution at XGA 1024 by 768. Problem with this one for me is the DLP aspect, I can see rainbows! Damn! This is a known issue with DLP's some people see rainbows in the projection due to a slow color segment wheel AFAIK. I still have these projectors and I have been monitoring the projecor market for something reasonable to come along. Spent a lot of time comparing cheap projectors of which there are many! and after some time this is the one that I thought might be worth a try. So with my accrued Xmas and Birthday money I ordered a lx60hd. Was an easy setup via google and everything works very smoothly on this smart projector. Very imrpessed with image quality and funcionality for the price, auto screen calibration appears to work most of the time, you may have to push button again to get it right. Overall the Build qulity is very nice, has what you need connection wise, though sound isn't great but does the job and the fan isn't too loud when watching movies etc and you can add a BlueTooth sound bar or Headphones. Fan noise rated at 40db but it isn't an annoying sound like my other projectors. So if your looking for a new toy that won't break the bank and might come in handy then this is well worth the money. Yes I was tempted to try one of the many cheap and cheerful options available on Amazon, but having learn't from experience, it is always better to go for a known brand. All in all very surprised at what you get for the cost of this device, this time I feel like I will use this projector as it is portable, just connect to a mobile hotspot if your not in vaccinity of internet, point it at the wall and away you go, streaming heaven! and up to a 140 inches! crazy! After a couple of weeks using the projector regularly I can honestly say it's been awesome for streaming enetrtainment on my bedroom wall whilst the Mrs watches reality tv on the TV, not my bag at all, she was last watching Dubai bling! like who cares how the wealthy live their wonderful fake lives, absolutely meaningless garbage and thank the gods for this projector that gives me that Home Cinema feeling in bed when watching what I want to watch, wow! Only issue I had is the week after a bought it they dropped the price to £280 from £299, this did annoy me just a little. I could have sent it back and re-ordered to take advantage of the price drop but I could not be bothered but was tempted.

Mit dem Modell aus dem verlinkten Angebot wurde ich absolut fündig. Schon beim Auspacken fiel mir das moderne, wertige Design auf – er wirkt keineswegs billig oder wackelig. Besonders positiv überrascht hat mich jedoch die Bildqualität: Farben werden lebendig und kontrastreich dargestellt, sodass Filme, Serien und sogar Präsentationen richtig gut zur Geltung kommen. Die Helligkeit ist hoch genug, um auch in leicht beleuchteten Räumen noch ein klares Bild zu bekommen. In einem abgedunkelten Raum entfaltet der Beamer dann sein volles Potenzial, und man fühlt sich beinahe wie im Kino. Ein weiteres Plus ist die leise Lüfterlautstärke – sie bleibt selbst nach längerer Laufzeit angenehm dezent und stört nicht beim Filmerlebnis. Was die Anschlüsse angeht, konnte ich problemlos Laptop, Streaming-Stick und sogar eine Spielekonsole verbinden. Die Einrichtung verlief intuitiv: Dank der klar strukturierten Menüführung und der verschiedenen Anschlussmöglichkeiten (HDMI, USB etc.) hatte ich innerhalb weniger Minuten alles startklar. Wer Wert auf flexible Aufstellung legt, wird sich über die Trapezkorrektur und die relativ geringe Projektionsdistanz freuen. So kann man das Gerät auch in kleineren Räumen gut einsetzen. Abgerundet wird der positive Eindruck durch die Soundqualität: Die integrierten Lautsprecher liefern einen soliden Klang, der für gelegentliches Ansehen vollkommen genügt. Für echte Heimkino-Fans könnte natürlich eine externe Soundanlage oder eine Soundbar das Erlebnis weiter verbessern – Anschlüsse dafür sind vorhanden. Fazit: Dieser Beamer hat meine Erwartungen rundum erfüllt. Er vereint scharfe Bildqualität, benutzerfreundliche Handhabung und ein schickes Design. Wer auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen Gerät für Filme, Gaming oder Präsentationen ist, macht mit diesem Modell definitiv nichts falsch. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt, und ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen!

Très bon vidéoprojecteur avec une excellente luminosité et une vraie définition Full HD. L’interface Android TV est fluide et pratique, avec beaucoup d’applications disponibles. Les couleurs sont riches et le rendu de l’image est très agréable. Le rapport qualité/prix est un vrai point fort. Le projecteur est un peu bruyant, mais cela reste correct pour cette gamme de prix. La qualité du son est correcte mais sans plus, suffisante pour un usage occasionnel. Les couleurs peuvent paraître légèrement surexposées au départ, mais ce point se règle facilement dans les paramètres.

I was on lookout for a smart TV/projector. However, none of the TVs in India offer more than one year warranty - including top brands. That's they are not sure as to whether their product will survive more than one year! The life of LED TVs are unpredictable and my Sony Bravia's panel failed exactly after one year and replacement costs are equallent to that of new TVs cost. So TV was ruled out. Projectors offer big screens at a fraction of the cost of big screen TVs and are durable except that lamp life is limited to 5000 hours for lamp projectors. However, LED and Laser projectors offer more than 10000 hours life. But laser projectors are extremely costly and were ruled out. Then my search for ideal LED projector started. Online marketing sites are flooded with cheap Chinese LED projectors and finding a branded one was a herculean task - it took me many days to zero in on this model. I was sceptical as the reviews were either for a complimentary product or by unverified buyers. Anyway I know that Viewsonic is a reputed US brand and had their monitors and also projectors in the office. So I took a chance and is happy with the purchase. This being a low end product, expectations should be low. The video in GoogleTV interface is good but HDMI playback was not that good. Pros: well known reputed company with good service network and two years warranty, value for money, good picture quality in the smart mode Cons: bad audio with tinny speakers - not a problem as you can connect Bluetooth speakers, initial setup is quite confusing and little difficult, the auto focus do not work properly in close ranges - may be because this is a long throw projector - but can be corrected by the manual focusing option, as a low lumen projector good viewing requires less ambient light but viewable with lights on. It's value for money at this cost and definitely far better than a low cost TV of this screen size.

Google TV is a must. Set up is very easy. I used it for two months. Average brightness but better than many portable projector. Projected videos should be not next to windows in daylight, otherwise washed out. Many popular Apps are available. True to 1080p, other aspects is average. Sound is average too. Very hard to find soft or hard carrying case, because of the box shape.
