I was worried to try this because I've heard there can be problems with freeze dried raw chicken. I decided to take a risk and order them. To my happy relief they looked very fresh and sanitary. They have almost no smell but if anything a slight, fresh chicken smell. I appreciate they have no added colors, chemicals or salt - just pure raw chicken. One of my cats loves them. The other likes them sometimes. (You can't please all cats.) The container keeps them fresh and helps prevent them from getting squished. If they do get squished then they turn into powder that won't work as a treat. All you can do at that point is mix it in with regular cat food. These are a good treat option!

I have been buying the freeze dried chicken at Trader Joe's for years and it has been discontinued for "safety" reasons. Maybe they will bring it back but I definitely liked this way better than the Trader Joe's version. I guess I should say my cats even loved it better!

My cat is obsessed with these chicken treats. The moment he hears the bag shake, he comes running. He always wants more and never seems to get enough. Value for money.

Changing my 6 cats review. Seeing this couldn’t be returned (at least I was not able to as the page wouldn’t allow send) I continued to give it to the 1 cat that was enthusiastic about it. My little hoover. Apparently this made my other orange boy, the Michelin critique, give it a second chance. Now that little stinker will not allow me to say “enough is enough” as he will continue to talk until I give him one more piece. My girl is still sensitive to it so I decided to try and break up the pieces, this seems to help (the pieces are small as they come but she’s a lady and eats tiny bits only). My older boys are still not a fan of this chicken and started a petition to make me continue buying them the more expensive brand. The girls brother accepts these pieces but he’s not upset if he misses the treat giving. It’s probably five stars if you don’t have high maintenance, snooty cats like I seem to have.

The dogs and cat absolutely loved the treats. I like that they are small and good for training exercises and love that I can feed to all my animals! No foul smell and decent size package!

Very disappointed to learn these were made in China when I received the bag. Grass fed chicken makes bo sense, the FDA and USDA do not directly inspect facilities in China, the factories are “self-inspected” by the company. No where does it specify what lab testing is done in the US, but I suspect it’s only the required testing for the nutrient analysis. Most of this is on me for not checking more thoroughly, but i would never feed these to my furries.

Cats need to smell food to eat it. This is very bland and generic. One cat picks at it and the other won’t eat it all. Found other high protein.

I am pleased to share that my dog, who can be quite particular about his food, enjoys these treats. I appreciate that they are made from natural ingredients, which is a significant plus for me.

my cat absolutely love these! i purchase a few brands depending what’s on offer but he really likes these and they don’t turn to dust in transit like some of the others we’ve tried!

My two 15 year-old cats love this stuff. One has some dental issues and had turned away from eating her favorite hard kitty treats and she has had no issues at all clamping down on these. All in all, they are a hit with my kitty crew.
