Purchased for my wife so she can easily see her charging cable. It lights up while it is charging the phone. Once the phone is finished charging the light goes out. No need to pick your phone up to see if its charged, if the lights on cable are out...its charged. These last for awhile. Last purchased one over a year ago. States its is a data cable, we only use them to charge phones so cant comment on that. I have purchased numerous iPhone charge cables and these tend to last. Great value for the money.

Doesnt light up!! The whole reason i bought it!! I thought maybe i wouldn’t be a review statistic but it’s that much of a waste of money. Don’t bother

Seems like a good charger so far just received it, but I wish there was a way to turn the light effect off just in case you don’t want it on. I plugged it in and the lady I work with said “ that’s annoying! You can’t shut it off?” Lol

great gift, kind of a novelty item but they work great.very decorative when charging and you can tell at a glance how much your phone has charged.

My order came in yesterday and I’m not satisfied. I initially got it because I needed a new wire to connect my phone to car play. Although the lights were cute, it unfortunately kept disconnecting my car play and I had to unplug and plug it back in. I would return but I threw the package it came in.
