Marvel Universe Classic Collection, Avengers Assemble 12-Inch Captain America Shield

I couldn’t give the durability and sturdiness a 5 star only because my kid broke the plastic piece that holds the strap in like the first 10 hours he had it. In his mind, he IS Captain America and everyone and everything is victim of the shield throw regularly! Great product though! A little duck tape still has the shield in everyday play for now.

The color to me is off from the photo. I mainly bought it bc I thought that it was a brighter color than the original darker blue and red, because my costume is more of a girly color such as light blue. So I was expecting light blue. But I should’ve looked at the pictures people uploaded in the reviews. But that’s not a huge issue. It is kind of small which is fine bc I knew it wasn’t going to be huge. It reminds me of a larger frisbee. Cheap, but like some have mentioned quite sturdy. I’m overall satisfied but I feel like they should be selling it for $7 to be quite honest I wouldn’t have paid more, but I did. So I’m going to keep it lol. Me and my kiddo is still having quite the fun role playing as super heroes right now. So none the less, we are happy.

My son loves this shield and has played hard with it. Overall it has lasted a long time but it did finally break. The elastic came separated from the back on one of the straps. Good thing there is 2. Maybe limit the amount of throws by the elastic and it should be for.

My son loves this Captain America Shield! We were looking for an affordable shield for my son to play with and came across this one. It was the most reasonably priced with great reviews. My son has thrown this shield several times and it has withstood all the abuse! It finally cracked when he jumped on it. Even with that, it was a small crack that we were able to seal up. Finally it broke the plastic in the back that keeps the handle attached to the shield. We were able to fix that as well...it is still going strong. This is one of his favorite toys and provides entertainment for everyone that comes in contact with him, because he has his shield with him...ALWAYS!

It's cheap and I knew it. It cracked the first day, so I superglued it back together. Other than that, my son loves playing with it, even though I know its days are limited.

I bought this for my son's fourth birthday to take pictures of it with him. He loves it. It's perfect for a four year old. It came on time and it is made of hard plastic with straps on the inside for the kid to put on his/her arm. Overall it's a good product for the money.

My 3yr old absolutely loves this shield. It's simple and plastic with no bells or whistles. It has 2 black straps to hold on to and put your forearm through. He has no problems wielding it around and having a blast. It's held up well considering the beating it takes. Overall it's the right size and great for the price.

I brought this shield for my little girl to compliment her captain America outfit. It arrived promptly, and does look like the picture. Nice colours and lightweight. my little girl did like putting it on. Only issues are that the shield has 2 material straps which means it must be worn on the arm which for younger children is a bit hard to maintain in place. Secondly as it’s hard for younger children to maintain on the arm/wrist when playing they are constantly adjusting/pulling on the shield to stay on. As a result one of the straps has already, after less than 5 minutes playing time, broken off the thin plastic snap which held it to the shield. I’ve superglued the strap itself to the board now so it can still be used, but obviously didn’t expect that to happen. My recommendation to the manufacturer is to make the plastic snap thicker so that this doesnt happen.

El escudo ahora le pertenece a mi hijo de 3.5 años. Aun cuando dice que es para 8 años en adelante, el tamaño es perfecto. El resorte para sujetarse es resistente. En caso de que se afloje por el uso, se puede cambiar sin problema. Un gran escudo para mi Capitán América :)
