This thing is the bomb-diggity. Easy to configure using the omada console. Clients like it, even older wifi 6e clients perform very well on it. Even better at 6e than my AXE300 aka AXE16000 was. Plus it's not an eyesore like that model was. Unfortunately, it only works with poe++ so most POE switches are a no-go. Still you can get an injector and only run the one cat8 cable to it.

A little to pricy. The unit has all the full speed wifi 7 specs. , not cut down like some of the slower units. Including 4x antennas, mlo etc. It does run hotter than the older generations as expected. The unit is not picky about placement for a good signal. It does take a little effort to setup all the 3 bands plus MLO. Bottom line I went from wifi 5 (average 144 Mbs for all devices) to wifi 7 and 1700Mbs 1000% increase I do expect to be faster later as I only have 2 antenna phones etc now. I do like that you can manage it through the cloud or app and buy a subscription etc. I only want the do the old style browser management and this is much appreciated, Many routers and mesh systems today seem to force you to use the cloud or a phone. Not this one. Should be fairly future proofed One of those rare purchases that is better than expected.

I did the speedtest on 6G with my M3 MacBook. The limitation is the wifi card on the laptop. My fiber optic internet subscription is only 1Gbps down and 250Mbps up. Very happy with the performance through concrete walls.

I got this in hopes that it would fix my spotty internet issues without having to buy multiples and running a ton of wire In the worst location in my home, it went from 80mbps → 260mbps, so nearly tripling the speeds However, this unit costs ~$550 at the time of writing this, as such I can nearly get 2 wifi 6e 4x4 APs, run them to opposing directions and get 400–600mbps in all areas for the same cost, and far better coverage across the whole home I will say that this is great tech, especially for Wifi7 capable devices but I can't stomach the cost for such mediocre gains Good buy when the prices come down to earth, but by then it's also likely there will be better options to consider. Especially since it's going to take multiple of these to get full coverage across a ~+1200sqft multistory home
