This trim is pretty light gauge aluminum. It is mainly for aesthetics. While I wouldn’t count on it to provide excellent dent protection, it is super easy to install since it is possible to cut it with Tin snips The self adhesive strips are a bonus. It was a really quick install just trim and stick and the project was done. I was making a wood box to match my cedar hot tub and this trim worked out perfectly.

The metal corner shields seem to be good. It was a little difficult to remove the plastic covering on the double stick tape without pulling off the adhesive. I was able to do it, but it took awhile.

Easily cut with snips to size. Good adhesion.

The heavy metal front door kept hitting the wall and these worked well keeping the wall from cracking whenever the door was fully opened.

We purchased these to use on our solid wood kitchen cabinets drawers. The inside bottom of the wood had worn down causing difficulty. These come with a self sticking tape. We thought we would need screws but the hold was so strong we didn’t need them. We did have to cut them to different lengths. Used his dremmal. Very happy it was so easy to fix a problem that we have been having for several years.
