Good value product, always good quality

Before actually describing the product, let me first describe my hair. My hair is extremely thick, ridiculously dense and has a sort of slight curl at the end of each hair (not really curly, just a slight bend). Thus as you probably already have assumed, I am not really fond of my hair. I have a sort of Bangladeshi hair, and thus it is extremely black. I have tried different products to tame my hair down, to make it look good. But 'good' would be the worst word to use. I can never get the shape I want with these products, and I find myself hours standing in front of the mirror trying to make it look better. I have tried 'Brylcream-tough styler strong wax', 'Brylcream-strong hair gel', 'Wella- unltra strong hair gel'and a lot more different stuff before. None of these ever suit me and thus made me go for this. Now for the part you are waiting for. For all those sad people out there like me, this is the miracle that you have been waiting for! This shaping cream is simply amazing. When i first opened it, and took some out, I spread it on my palms, and it felt really weird (almost like lotion). I was really scared that I bought the wrong product. But I still put it on my head...and WOW! It is simply the best styling product that i have tried so far. It doesn't dry out your hair, or make it shiny, or rock solid or oily or greasy...bla bla bla! This just takes your hair wherever you want it to go. I would recommend using this after taking a shower, when your hair still is slightly wet. It works best in this condition. The best thing is, it just washes of easily! Just a little more advice. If you have har similar to me, I think either short hair or very long hair, is the way to go. Short hair looks good in every occasion. Long hair on the other hand looks good, but you don't really need to use anything to shape your hair. But try to avoid having that medium hair, which doesn't suit at all, for people who have hair like me. And the end of the day its your hair and it's your choice, but I just want to share my experience with you. Apart from that nothing much to say....Oh wait one thing, GO AND BUY IT NOW!!!

Excellent it doesn’t leave hair greasy and does the job

This was exactly what I was looking for. It’s a cream so it’s easy to apply and remove, but it has slightly more hold than usual (more like a wax), so you get the best of both worlds. You only need a little bit to get the desired effect, so the little pot will last me ages.

Not what I had hoped for, I love the smell of tea tree but this smells of basically nothing. It’s also a bit too hard to use to style my hair, I’ve tried rubbing it between my hands to warm it up but still it’s too thick. It’s almost like it’s past its best? Not impressed to be honest.

The product itself is fantastic, providing a strong, supple, lasting hold. It's a nice consistency and creates a perfectly natural look. The best hair product I have used. Only three stars here though as the price (£24.95 for 100g) is ridiculous. It is widely available elsewhere for £11 for 85g.

Tea Tree Shaping Cream with its brand name has got a beautiful fragrance and hence keeps the hair in natural shape. I use this product for styling my hair and keep it in shape. However, I dislike it for not providing a high and stronger hold like American Crew and other styling wax products.

I had been using d:Fi, d:struct for about 14 years or so. it was creamy not powdery or slimy. It went in easily, gave the ideal amount of hold and I thought also kinda faded into my hair during the day, so it did not remain too crusty or stiff. (American Crew either discontinued that line OR folded it into one of their other products and that seems to have ruined its consistency -- literally and figuratively. Current options for the older product are like 35-40$ ... as they are no longer making it) Soooo -- I decided to check out this suggested option and holy pompadooo! what a totally and completely better choice for men who want their hair to kinda defy gravity in some way, but do not need to look like Elvis, Sid Vicious or eraserhead. Onto the specifics: Creaminess -- this is a bit harder than the lotion like d:fi ... you have to kinda dig into it a bit. But, it is not in the least pasty. Once you scoop out a dab, it goes from feeling like fudge to that more lotiony consistency that I find works better when you just want to spazz out your hair and give it some lift, not mold it into a sculpture, or craft individual chunks into a certain shape. Hold - I have relatively thick hair and that might impact how this works for you. But, I prefer that during the course of the day, my hair can actually move and seem natural even though its kinda collectively spiked up and vertical. Meaning, this is not in any way rigid. you can run your hands through it and they wont get gooey in the least. Not a bit of residue once you let it set for about an hour or so. I mess with my hair often from stress, as a nervous habit ... etc so its nice to not get stuff all over my keyboard during the workday. Also, I like a more natural look -- and the fact that your hair can still move and react to touch while retaining its lift and height is perfect for me. Matte Finish -- unlike a lot of other products, this has more of a matte finish ... though, as mentioned, its not a powder or paste. I think that combo of characteristics is rare. Even the aforementioned d:struct which I had loved now seems like it was a bit too glossy and crunchy. This option provides perhaps a tiny bit less hold, while avoiding that overly styled kinda look. You will defly look like you put some stuff in your hair, but, not in an overtly, ocd, vain way ... I can best describe the final effect as hipster band bedhead vibe. Speaking of which, the pic is from one day after application -- including playing with the kids, a full workday, and a good nights sleep.
