They are like really short price tag fasteners and are designed to quickly stitch together cloth that has come apart at short notice. Being in a fashion design club at college, my daughter designed a line of outfits for their runway show. I bought a couple of micro stitch guns for her so that she can fix any rips or to take in any extra material during the show, just to get those final touches in. She told me that the stitch guns came in handy and she appreciated having them. During the design phase, she is able to use this to quickly stitch cloth together then sew it permanently with the fasteners holding the cloth during the process.
