I've only used sticks, so the resin is new to me.** A: Burns well, especially with powder incense. I have been burning incense for a while and burn resin with powder. You need to put the resin with another substance, like dried sage or some powder incense - perhaps some other dried herb could work too. It will then burn well. I have never burned resin by itself and I don't think it will burn well alone. Burning incense in a brass bowl or plate works well. Hopes this helps! =D **Q: How do you burn it** A: I place a piece in a small rock bowl on top of my woodstove. At lower temperatures it melts and releases the essential oils. At the heat increases it chars and sends up smoke. The rock bowl keeps it from making a mess on the woodstove. **Q: Can this be used in a Scentsy?** A: I don't think so. The Scentsy is a warmer. You need more heat...like on coal or a burner. **Q: Is this Sambrani from India? i'm looking for Sambrani** A: No, this is Gum Olibanum from Ethiopia. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pure, Fresh, and Excellent Quality *by G***E on June 12, 2026* This frankincense resin exceeded my expectations. Great price for the size. Clean the air and very aromatic. Like the Pebble size. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smells amazing once it's burned off *by A***R on March 31, 2016* This is my first time actually buying the resin rather than the incense. I burned it with some quick light charcoal and it really made a lot of smoke, almost more than we could handle but it's a learning process. The scent of the fumes coming right off the resin smells a bit smoky and you don't get the full appreciation of how great this is until you walk away. Don't smell the smoke directly, burn it and then your house will smell like a temple or a Catholic church at Christmas mass. I only burned a large pinch and it was enough to heavily scent the whole (small) house like Frankinscence. It didn't smell "burnt smoky" once it was done, only incensey. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and all the negative energy felt neutralized and cleared after I was done walking around the house with it. Most of mine aren't 'pea size,' they are more like aquarium gravel. It came double bagged. This bag will last a very long time. ## Frequently Bought Together - Govinda Frankincense Natural Tree Sap Gum Pea Size 1 lb - Sunlight® Charcoal Tablets for Incense– Quick Light Charcoal Tablets – Charcoal Disk Lights – 33 mm Resin Burner Rolls – – Charcoal Burner - Instant Fire Coal Tablet (100 Count (Pack of 1)) - Govinda - White Copal Tree Sap Gum Incense 1 lb --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/6721150-frankincense-natural-tree-sap-gum-pea-size-1-lb](https://www.desertcart.is/products/6721150-frankincense-natural-tree-sap-gum-pea-size-1-lb) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
