It works, takes some finagling to get it set up. One problem I noticed was if you have a fast Focus eye piece that sits higher than the eye objective it will rotate with the weight of the phone. So this would be ideal on a scope with a fast Focus eye piece that is flush with the main scope

Fits and works as intended. Can get decent clarity through it, although the internal lens does take out some brightness. Main problem is its too long and takes up all the eye relief, so to use it as a look thru camera as intended while shooting means your eye is almost right on the aluminum. Any kind of recoiling gun will hit you. Would only recommend for heavy muzzle braked guns that do not recoil or rimfire.

Not all astronomy gear fits together and that's where adapters like this come in. This is a very well made 42 - 48mm adapter. The machining is excellent and the finish is perfect. No flaws, no burrs, the threads fit just right without binding, and it stays put. I don't worry about this jamming and getting stuck or barely holding on and letting valuable equipment fall. Good fit! Great price! Sold!

Product is not stable . Even when you tighten it to the max .. for any little step you take the levers move out of place .. is poor don’t waste your money on this

This is a well-made, well-machined, well-finished product with no seams, burrs, or snags to catch on things. I'm impressed with how well the threads are made and how easily it screw on and off of other pieces. I use this as part of an astrophotography imaging train with a Canon cameras with a T-2 adapter on it to connect to my main telescope and had no problems with it. Here's a sample image taken. If you need to convert from M48 to M42, this is a great piece of kit that seems to be priced better than the competition!

This is an adapter that is extremely handy to have on-hand, when needed. I have a couple of cameras and other items I swap in/out of my optical trains and this adapter does the job very well. The threads are smooth and feels secure,
