Review: Stays on- Training Muzzle - This is the good one. I bought more than one, and this one has an essential extra strap around the neck to keep my dog from taking it off! I haven't had problems with her eating the wrong things outside, like so many people say here- although I could see this being useful for that. I use mine for training my dog. I am in an area where she has to be on her best behavior. Noise like motorbikes or scooters set off reactive behavior for her. So, when she begins barking, I sit her down and put this muzzle on. She understands it is a punishment, and if she self-regulates, I take it off after 5 minutes. So far, she's doing really well! It is just the right size for her mini-Aussie snout, after adjusting the straps. Would buy again. I'll see how durable it is after we've had it a few months. However, if training continues to be so easy, I won't really know. Most of the time, it stays in my pocket.

The Strap that goes over the ears is about 3 inches too large when at its tightest (see photo). The nose strap IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. For this dog, the basket and nose strap fit perfectly, which is the important part. You can easily discard the small collar that comes with this and just attach the loop to your dogs collar, like most muzzles do. I will cut and sew the long ear strap because the quality and size of the basket is perfect in my case.

This is the good one. I bought more than one, and this one has an essential extra strap around the neck to keep my dog from taking it off! I haven't had problems with her eating the wrong things outside, like so many people say here- although I could see this being useful for that. I use mine for training my dog. Four stars because the sizing is a little wonky. Mesh part and collar run small. Dipper is a 45lb Blue Heeler with a smallish head and thick neck. Definitely small for an XL but fit my smaller build Labrador perfectly and for a dog that never had a muzzle on she didn't mind it at all so I'm good with it.My lab is definitely not a xl dog at all so if your looking for one for a large dog get a bigger than xl size I can say that for sure.overall it's good and like the collar connection to avoid being able to get it off.
