teapigs Peppermint Tea - Caffeine-Free Mint Loose Leaf Tea with Whole Peppermint Leaves - Fresh and Minty Blend - 100g

I've been drinking Teapigs for a couple of years now and I refuse to use any other brand for peppermint tea. I like to make it a little on the stronger side, and it's wonderfully refreshing and tasty. Nice, large dried peppermint pieces, absolutely no dust and not extremely pricey. I can't speak for the strength when following the recommending loose tea to water ready ratio, because I always use a bit more. But even so, it's strong tasting with my one extra teaspoon added, so I feel like it would satisfy most peppermint tea lovers at the recommended amount.

As others have said - the tea has very good, robust flavour. A little does go a long way. In fact, I just boiled some water this morning and added to the leaves from last night and I got a delicious brew with the same depth of flavour. However, the leaves are not whole as one might consider, they are very finely chopped or smashed, pulverised you might say. Doesn't detract from the flavour but was a little surprised to see it so finely crushed. Definitely need to strain maybe even with a fine mesh cloth. I've just used a strainer so far.

Love teapigs peppermint tea bags, great value, great taste, I have these when I have upset tummy and they certainly help me, I would honestly recommend these, good strong quality easy to drink, 11* outta 10

Qué puedo decir de este maravilloso té... me encanta el sabor. Lo solía beber en Inglaterra. Me alegra tener este producto en prime amazon españa. Al ser un té hecho de hoja, no queda ese polvillo al final del té que puedes encontrar en un té de menta barato. El sabor es fresco, genial para hacer la digestión. Lo recomiendo 1000%.

So I have ordered nearly every brand of peppermint tea Amazon sells and Teapig by far is the best. The noticeable different begins with the smell of the tea. When you smell the tea your senses are filled with a sweet clean scent of peppermint leaves. Compare it to the smell of any other brand. All the others have a bitter overtone to their tea. Then you should look at what is in the teabag. Teapig uses flakes of peppermint leaves while the others mostly use something that looks more like pulverized dust. Like the peppermint itself was used for something else and they decided to make tea out of the remnants. Finally, the taste. The Teapig peppermint is wonderful. The taste is smooth and soothing. While a lot of the others have a bitter overtone and aftertaste. Yes, it’s often more pricy than the others, but the cost is definitely worth every penny.

I used to buy the supermarket brand peppermint tea until I changed to this. Night and day difference. Massive quality upgrade and for about 40cents a bag it's hard to go wrong.
