Favorite pen because it’s so smooth
Pros: The Pilot G2 has been one of my favorite pens for over 10 years, and this bold point 1.0mm version did not disappoint. The gel ink glides across paper so smoothly that writing almost feels effortless, and I never deal with skipping or scratchy lines even during long note taking sessions. The ink dries quickly, so I do not end up with smudges when I am jotting things down quickly, which matters a lot to me since I am constantly writing lists and notes throughout the day. I actually got my husband hooked on these Pilot G2 pens too. We grabbed this 12 pack during a Prime Day sale, and now we both reach for them constantly. The ink stays fresh and consistent all the way through, and the rubber grip is comfortable enough that my hand does not cramp up even after using it for a while. It has become our go to office pen and honestly it is hard to go back to anything else once you get used to how well these write. Cons: Every so often a small ink glob will form right at the tip, and when that happens it does stain and smudge the page instead of the usual clean line these pens are known for. It does not happen often, but it is noticeable when it does since the rest of the writing experience is so smooth. The barrel is also a plain black design, so if you are someone who likes to visually tell your pens apart at a glance, these all look identical in a pack. It would be nice if Pilot offered even a small marking to differentiate bold point from other tip sizes without having to check the tip itself.

Smooth, Bold, and Reliable — My Go‑To Everyday Pen
I’ve tried a lot of gel pens over the years, but the Pilot G2 in 1.0 mm has become the one I keep reaching for. The thicker tip gives it a bold, smooth line that feels great for everyday writing. It glides across the page with almost no pressure, and the ink flow is consistent from the first stroke to the last. Pros: - Writes incredibly smoothly with no skipping - Dark, bold ink that looks clean and professional - Comfortable grip for long writing sessions - Feels sturdy without being heavy Cons: - The 1.0 mm tip can smudge if you’re left‑handed - Ink runs out faster than finer tips - Some bleed‑through on thin notebook paper

Pilot G2 gel pen
Always liked a fountain pen because of the ease of writing. This pen is just as easy but without all the mess. Glides smoothly and effortlessly across the paper. Great pen.

Lovely pens and very smooth to write with.
I used to buy a box of the 7s every Christmas as a gift to myself. I'm a writer and love these pens. This year, I bought the 10s. Boy. Do I love this more or what? The 7s seem to clog up pretty easily, while the 10s just go until they're empty. Love them
