I do really like this radio. The stereo sound is good for a small, compact kitchen radio. (Of course it won't match your 200 watt Onkyo receiver with Paradigm speakers in the living room.) I use it about 50% for FM radio and 50% to Bluetooth my SC Public Radio from my phone. But it's great to also be able to blast some CDs when I have a craving. Everything works. You should read through the instructions to get the finer points, as I just did after 4 months. *NOTE: At least one reviewer has stated that their radio worked for a while but then they could not get any sound out of it. This does seem to be a fluke with this unit. But I found that all you have to do when this happens is pull the power plug out of the back of the radio and plug it back in. Then it works fine again. I guess you could also pull out the wall plug; whichever is easier for your setup. I hope this helps and everyone doesn't have to send theirs back. (Of course, if you send it back the mfgr or Amazon is going to plug it in and say "Look, it works fine."

The purpose of a 'clock radio' is to be a 'clock' so that you can tell time and a 'radio' which picks up signals of a station and plays the sound. In addition to the photo of the product shown on Amazon not matching the product - one is gray in the photo but what was sent (and returned) is black - the panel which is all black with tiny indications of what to push for what purpose is both hard to see and impossible to negotiate making it, for me, totally inadequate. When I tune to a station, I expect the display to show the various frequencies until I arrive where I want and then revert to showing the clock. This radio never reverts to the clock but rather shows only the frequency - forever. Unhelpful! If you press display, the time will show momentarily but the display quickly reverts to the frequency. When you play a CD, the display shows what cut is playing and how many seconds have passed the whole time the CD is playing never reverting to show the correct time. Whoever designed such a product must have no idea what 'clock radio' means. Whoever thought it a good idea to make black remotes and black face plates for items often in a darkened room along with tiny letters indicating function obviously never used the product they designed or they would have seen the flaws. At first I thought I could live with the inadequacies so I placed white adhesive dots on the faceplate to indicate up and down volume, on and off and display. Then I discovered that the reception at least in my house which has a metal roof was spotty - fading in and out while I was in the shower seemingly dependent on the position of my arm. I looked for a place to attach an external antenna and found none - another reason NOT to buy this product. So here, I have outlined several reasons NOT to buy this product and I am baffled by the good reviews which are posted here which makes me doubt reviews as being authentic. I will reserve my judgement until I see if my review is posted or not. Under 'rate features' do you find it strange that 'reception' is not a quality to be rated? How about 'ease of use'?

Easy to install, looks and sounds great. The Bluetooth pairing is actually the easiest I have seen. You can multiple devices paired (one at a time of course) and it will let you know by a beep if it is paired or not. As others have mentioned the FM is barely functional at best. I have a strong FM station in my area it barely receives this station. An AM radio would have been much easier for them to implement and using the standard wire loop antenna they would have been all set. However, this is the 21st century and many AM & FM stations stream over services such as Tunein. The sound is enough to fill a kitchen area. I placed mine at a 45° in the corner. That way the sound will be reflected off the walls into the middle of the room. With the speakers both facing down and being so close together you really shouldn't expect to get much of any stereo separation between the two stereo channels. You can easily vary the height by using the four spacers provided. They have different click stops for different heights. This could also be used to remedy another users issue with the display being hard to see. You can either tip it forward or backward slightly using different clicks for the spaces to get it angled better for viewing. Once nice little bonus that I haven't seen mentioned on other reviews is that the remote has a magnetic base. This allows you to stick it to the side of a fridge, microwave or other ferrous object nearby. I spaced the device down just low enough from the cabinet for the remote to slip in between the cabinet and the top of the device.

I bought this because it was way too quiet in my kitchen when I cooked. For the money, I'm VERY impressed with this unit. Works perfectly and looks awesome. Took my brother maybe 10 minutes to mount under the kitchen cabinet. The speakers might sound a BIT hollow when connected to bluetooth but not enough to bother me or for anyone else to even notice. I actually don't even notice that anymore. Connected right away to my Galaxy S5 and connects automatically as soon as I power it up again and put on bluetooth mode. I've been using Pandora and connects immediately. Radio & CD player work great too! CD player is a slide out tray and I actually like that better than one that sucks in the CD...that always gives me anxiety that it's not gonna come back out lol. Remote control as an added bonus works amazingly well too. Oh and the LED clock works as a nice night light in my kitchen. I'm very happy with my purchase and would HIGHLY recommend!

When I first tried this it kept turning itself on and the CD player would open itself..I was getting frustrated and said just leave it and probably return next day, BUT it stopped and now works perfectly. I have no issues with it, sounds great and signal is good.

No puedo creer que en esta edad de tecnología avanzada un aparato que tiene Blue Tooth no puede tocar CDs de Mp3. Deben decir eso en la description y no dar la muy mala sorpresa de tener que descubrirlo en el instructivo.

I bought this for my wife and have been happy with it. Sound quality is good for this type of unit and easily pairs to all devices we have tried. (two iphones and an ipad) The only complaint I have with it is if you are standing directly in front and looking down at it the display is unreadable. If you take a step back from the unit the display is easily readable so for me its not a deal breaker given the excellent price and quality.
