Mattel Jurassic World Dinosaur Toys with Roar Sound & Attack Action, Wild Roar Posable Figure, Physical & Connected Digital Play

Great quality awesome loud noise and the colors are amazing. This dinosaur is pretty durable and great toy but the only thing I wish was different, and that's probably my mistake, is the size is way smaller than I thought. The advertisement pictures made it look like a pretty big dinosaur but when I received it, which was really quick, I was disappointed in the small actually very small size and for the cost even though I got a better deal than the actual cost it to me is more than it should be because of the size. But I thought I read everything because I do read everything about everything now a days with all the false information everywhere in the merchant industries but maybe just maybe I missed something I don't know if it was my mistake or if the advertisement just didn't give measurements. Either way it's great in everything but just wish it was bigger like the advertised pictures made me think it was. Shows how we all should read read read and research everything or you'll be disappointed and no one wants that. So I gave 5 stars because it's an awesome (little) dinosaur toy despite it's little size. I didn't take pictures of the dinosaur because I don't have a tape measure or ruler of any kind and didn't want to mislead anyone.

My 14-year-old daughter has been obsessed with dinosaurs since preschool—and she has never outgrown it. She firmly believes she needs every Jurassic World toy ever created (spoiler alert: that’s not happening 😄). But when she received a birthday gift card, she knew immediately what her first purchase would be: a Jurassic World dinosaur of her all-time favorite species. Even at 14, she was absolutely beside herself waiting for it to arrive. The excitement when the package showed up was priceless. She tore it open and couldn’t wait to get it out and check out every detail. I have to say, it’s a really well-made figure. It feels sturdy and thoughtfully designed. When you turn the tail, the head moves, and it also makes a dinosaur sound effect. The motion feature is smooth and adds just enough interactivity to make it fun without feeling gimmicky. While she doesn’t sit down and fully “play” with toys the way she did when she was younger, she loves having it displayed in her room. It proudly sits near her desk, and she’ll occasionally pick it up, move the tail, and enjoy the sound effects while she’s studying or relaxing. It’s more of a collectible piece for her now—but still interactive enough to bring her joy. She’s an aspiring paleontologist, and anything dinosaur-related still lights her up. This purchase made her beyond happy, and seeing that kind of excitement at 14 years old is pretty special. If you have a dinosaur-loving kid or teen in your life, this is a fantastic choice. Well made, fun features, and perfect for both display and play.

This is a high quality figure- with a little more flair than previous noise making figures. This figure is decently sized- large enough to hold comfortably in both hands, and has a decently paleo-accurate appearance to the real pliosauroid. Brachauchenius is certainly an interesting gift for any marine reptile fan, and a valuable figure for the money spent on it.

My son loves it…. He put it in the bathtub with him the first night and it stopped working…Roaring….2 weeks later it works again…🤷🏾

Mattel expands their ever-growing catalog of marine reptiles yet again with this new addition to the “Wild Roar” lineup. Brachauchenius was a genus of pliosaur from Late Cretaceous North America. Given that Jurassic World Survival is a mutant-focused toyline, Mattel could have gone wild with the sculpt here. However, other than a few features, they utilized their artistic license fairly conservatively. The most obvious mutation is the size. This is one of Mattel’s largest Wild Roar figures to date, and straddles the line between “Wild Roar” and “Gigantic Thrasher.” While the real Brachauchenius was a big animal, it wasn’t nearly as large as depicted here. The sculpted detail is similar to Mattel’s other aquatic species. The skin is wrinkled and leathery, with sparse scalation, and occasional clusters of osteoderms. The teeth look genuinely sharp, and are some of the best teeth on a Mattel marine reptile. The underside of the animal features deep striated skin that runs lengthwise down the figure. This is a feature seen on some whale species. The skin detail remains basically the same across the entire body. There are a few bumps on the body, which appear to be barnacles rather than osteoderms. This is an awesome detail to incorporate! The flippers are beautifully detailed as well. The four flippers have large knobs along their leading edges. This is most apparent on the front flippers. These are called “tubercles,” and are another feature seen on some whales. They help to enhance the agility of the animal, and it’s another cool touch to add to a marine reptile! All four flippers feature a bit of damage as well. There are holes in all of the flippers, as if the Brachauchenius has been in many fights. The tail features a slight fluke, and it too shows damage. The detail here follows the same formula as the rest of the body. The coloration is the true standout of this figure. The main color is a dark bluish hue. Large, pale blue stripes run lengthwise along the back. The same light blue is striped along the front flippers as well. A mottled pattern of shiny silver runs from the bottom of the lower jaw, down to just between the front flippers. My only complaint is that I wish this silvery pattern had continued further down the body. It’s a striking coloration, and one that doesn’t feel out of the range of possibility. Articulation is excellent, especially compared to the more recent “Wild Roar” figures. All four flippers can move forward, back, up, down, and can rotate. The tail can rotate as well. Everything else is tied to the action feature. The action feature also showcases the other mutation of this Brachauchenius: bioluminescence! To activate the action features, simply press the button located on the back of the figure. This causes the neck to bend down, and the mouth to open wide. This also activates lights and sounds. The sounds consist of various roars and bellows that feel believably aquatic. The “bioluminescent” lights are what really draw attention. The greenish color, and the pattern of the light, makes this one of the more believable bioluminescent creatures in the Jurassic World Survival line so far, and it’s quite beautiful! Mattel’s marine reptiles are consistently excellent, and this Brachauchenius is no exception. The fun action features, decent detailing, and beautiful coloration instantly make this one a must-have!

Fun toy! Slightly on the smaller size but overall a great gift for a 7 year old who loves dinosaurs! Good quality that Mattel Jurassic Park is known for!

Well detailed joints tight use hair dryer to loosen up , gimmick of sound and LED light works the teeth are gummy style which I like , colors wow his body is translucent I love how good the details look in hand im a sucker for ocean dinosaurs, this was a hard pick I also wanted Ceratosaurus hopefully he’s next , I went with this guy I know his value will go up most ocean dinosaurs do go high price not enough made ! Good size I put this in the middle size … I would love Hammond look on this guy no gimmicks with head neck articulation, good pick up
