Small and mighty indeed
This Car Dash Cam lives up to its “small and mighty” promise. Its sleek design makes it almost invisible behind the rearview mirror, but it packs powerful features. The 1440p Ultra-Wide Quad HD footage is impressively clear, capturing critical details like license plates and road signs, which adds peace of mind on the road. Voice control is a standout feature, allowing hands-free operation to activate modes like Guardian and Witness Lite. I also appreciate the ESOS function for automatic alerts in serious accidents—a thoughtful addition for safety. The smart parking mode is another bonus, with collision detection and alerts via the app (though the extra cable for setup is a minor downside). Connectivity is seamless with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth, and the Nextbase app makes sharing and editing footage a breeze. Features like geofencing and incident notifications through Guardian Mode Lite are excellent for added vehicle security, especially when someone else is driving. The installation process is straightforward, and the included accessories help keep everything tidy and professional. If you’re looking for a compact, feature-packed dash cam, the Piqo 2K is a solid investment. Just don’t forget to pick up a Nextbase SD card and an optional hardwiring kit for full functionality.

Good quality but has issues
Easy to set up decent quality and functional but for some reason every now and again it flattens the battery on the car.Battery is brand new so it’s something wrong with the camera not closing down when car is not in use.

Impressive Dash Cam – Even Better After the Latest Firmware Update!
I’ve been using the Nextbase Piqo Dash Cam for a while now, and it has been nothing short of excellent. The compact design makes it discreet, but don’t let the size fool you—this thing packs a punch when it comes to features! The video quality is outstanding, with crisp resolution that captures every detail, even in low-light conditions. The wide-angle lens ensures nothing is missed, and the built-in GPS provides precise location tracking. What really set this dash cam apart for me was the latest firmware update. After updating, I immediately noticed faster boot-up times, smoother Wi-Fi connectivity, and overall improved performance. The update also enhanced the Night Vision mode, making nighttime recordings even clearer. Nextbase clearly listens to its users and continues to refine an already fantastic product. Setup was a breeze, and the Nextbase app makes reviewing footage quick and easy. The added Emergency SOS feature is another huge plus for peace of mind. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality dash cam, the Nextbase Piqo is a no-brainer—especially with the latest firmware improvements! Highly recommend!

Fit and forget
After some trouble getting the camera to format the card and connect to my phone, this has been a very good dashcam. I can't see it behind the mirror and it makes a noise to show it's operating and shutting down. The day footage is adequate, but I've not actually tried downloading any night recordings. For the money it's WAY more hassle free than the cheap unbranded cameras. This is worth the little bit extra to just fit and forget. There's a higher resolution version too but when I bought mine it was about double the price, if they are close I'm price I would have tried the high res version. Worth a double check on the price now I'd say.

Wouldn't give this to my worst enemy
Ok, so let's start with the good things, when you can see it the picture quality is ok and to be fair the camera is pretty cheap considering that. This is my fourth Nextbase dash cam and the other three were simple to install, stick in a memory card, attach to windscreen, route cable and plug in and finally check picture from back screen. Unfortunately with this camera things are far from simple. I refused to stick it to the screen as suggested in the set up video until I had paired it to the Nextbase app. After nearly an hour and four attempts (250 mb/s wifi) I finally managed to download the recommended firmware update which after two attempts installed. I've had this thing about a week, the app randomly refuses to connect to the camera (IOS 18.5) when it does sometimes it will not show images in the library just an eternal downloading screen that never ends, sometimes it will say that the camera is not connected even though the home screen says it is. A reboot of my phone left the app with just a Grey screen which needed a further reboot to fix although it isn't fixed. Not a problem I thought, the camera just slides off its mount and I can view the files in the old fashioned way. There is no way this camera will slide off its mount on my windscreen probably without the use of a hammer and chisel which I may yet resort to so I can send it back for a refund. Come on Nextbase, I think you have seriously let yourselves down here. Update the app worked again briefly and I was about to change my review but sadly again today it reverted to the same issue of never ending syncing so still utterly useless in my opinion. So after 4 months of it working reasonably ok apart from random failures to connect to my phone it has now lost GPS so no longer records position, speed or even turned the clock back this last weekend. Nextbase I hope you read this and reach out as I am about done with this camera.

Not a good product
Looks neat and tidy but it's all controlled via the app which is fine whilst its working but with the latest update I can't get any sense out of it. Won't connect and just keeps promoting me to connect. I took a gamble on it and regret it now

Great little dash cam and Nextbase offer great client support - phone them it’s easy
Great dash cam easy to set up and has great screen definition - good that has as. And app option I had Apple play so to playback on app the Apple play needs to be disconnected so I tend to use the sd card in my laptop to download any videos I need

Mach was es soll, einzig die Anzeige von MPH anstelle KM/H finde ich unpassend, sollte mit einem Firmware Update leicht zu Beheben sein.

This has been the best purchase ever. It is huge peace of mind to have the dashcam recording as you drive in tough traffic situations easy to set up and integrate with the Nexstar app. The video quality is just the right level to distinguish important details and being in a hot area of the USA, very heat resistant!!

So far so good the only issue that I have is that it relies on wireless connection for you to watch videos on your phone through the app so if I am not near the camera, I can’t watch any videos from the library or even connect my phone to the camera. I also got the quick connect, which is good because my camera will continue to be on even when my car is off.

Amazing product easy to use and easy to install.

Lässt sich überhaupt nicht updaten. Die App ist nicht gut konzipiert. Bluetooth geht immer wieder verloren.
