This full body massage mat is great. I have used it in a recliner, but my favorite place for it is on the bed in my game room (It's a spare bed where I can leave the mat always). I laid the mat out and laid down on it and turned it on. At first, I adjusted the vibration motors to where they were all on, constantly, on the high setting. I also added heat and then laid back and just enjoyed the vibration. At the bottom, there are 4 vibrators for my legs and they make my legs feel good. The next one up (two actually -- one left and one right) massages my butt and is heated. The legs aren't heated, but from the butt up, they are. The next ones are for the middle back and upper back. They all feel amazing. After using it for a while, I started experimenting with the preset massage programs and WOW! am I glad I did. I selected the first one and let it run and did that with all of them. They are each amazing in their own right. I fell asleep with one of them, but woke up when it automatically shut off after a preset time. I think it's 30 minutes. The controls are easy to use and easy to master. The vibration is strong enough to make my muscles feel better after abusing them with yard work, and the heat functions very nicely as a muscle relaxer as well. The massager is easily portable from one area to the next, but I'll be leaving mine where it is because its very convenient and easy. If you want to attach it a bit more permanently, there are straps to do that. I didn't use them since laying flat doesn't need it. The cord is long enough to reach my nearest outlet, and the whole thing is very quiet when I'm laying on it.

This was the 4th massage pad I bought on Amazon and the only keeper. It's comfortable to sit on all the time. The heat feature doesn't get as hot as my heating pads, but it's enough to give instant relief in my low back. The shiatsu rollers are too much for me, but the gentle vibration of this mat is perfect. I only use the steady low massage intensity, but I like that there are lots of massage types and intensities. The length is really good too. I'm 5'4" and I can feel the massage on my shoulders down to my ankles. My only complaint is that the strap doesn't reach around my recliner so I had to add something to it to make it reach. The pad isn't perfect, but it's great for folks with chronic pain (shout out to my Ankylosing Spondylitis peeps).

Pressing the mode button lets you select from five different combinations, depending on what you want to focus on. Mode 5 delivers continuous vibrations to all zones simultaneously. There is also a button for intensity, allowing you to select from three different levels. The heat feature is fantastic - it elevates the vibrating mat to a whole new level, but you can decide whether to use it by pressing the heat button. At 4.4 lbs, this is a heavier and sturdier mat. However, rolling it up like a yoga mat lets you take it to places because it fits in your car nicely. It's not bulky like some of the versions that are meant for use in a designated arrangement only; this mat has a lot of flexibility. One of my favorite uses is to unwind after workouts, relax, and let the heat soothe my sore muscles. I love that it delivers three different levels of vibrations, and the hum of the mat has a soft, white noise feel to it. I've taken this mat to many places, including camping - it's the perfect mat to relax on, and it's easy to store. It runs on electricity, so it needs to be plugged into an outlet while in use. Overall, excellent quality and five stars, for sure!
