SmallRig FilMov 17mm Threaded Lens Mount Plate for iPhone 16 Series Cases, Only for SmallRig Phone Case 16 Series (4987 & 4988) - 4992

I wish this 17mm was part of the case again, and I wish standoff distance of the lens to my phone lens was less. However, I am still able to take some nice pictures and as part of the FilMov experience it is nice to have extra of these already threaded to the lenses you want to use without having to worry about attaching them each time and potentially cross-threading the threads of the case/cage. This adapter slides up and off the case. It’s not a very strong connection, but nothing has fallen off yet. I do worry about if I was to hold the phone down with a bigger lens on I think it would slide off, so tripod use is likely best use.

Exactly as described. Metal build slips easily into case /cage mount.

This lens plate allows you to mount any accessory lens with a 17mm thread size to the iPhone FilMov case system. It’s great for using your existing smartphone lenses and just another sign of how much thinking has gone into this filmmaker’s dream kit.

Easily lost as it slides of case very easily and often find wherever set phone down, in center console in car, pants pocket, and eventually lost. Needs to lock/snap onto phone case tighter

Slides off easily but I gave 2 stars because it’s the only thing that fits small rig products so there is no “better option”
