Best USB camera I have tried.
I have trialled a number of USB cameras for computer vision tasks and this one is amazing.The Sony IMX291 low light sensor has such a short shutter speed in daylight that there ispractically no notion blur in videos of traffic or other fast moving things.The dynamic range selection is spot on and it doesn't white out road signs in bright lightwith a fast lens.The camera is UVC compliant and is v4L2 compliant so you can script access with ffmpeg to take timedvideos at set frame rates and resolutions. This basically saves you form the pain of manufacturers' SDKsand the proprietary horror that is GeniCam.Having 2MP rather than 8MP means the pixels are a decent size which makes sharp focusing possibleand keeps the shutter speed fast.If you have a computer vision task that requires a fast shutter speed you should try this camera first.
