MK-7 Vitamin K-2 100 mcg, 60 Vegetable Capsule (2 Pack)

NOW is one of my favorite brands and there's still family owned in the USA. Quality products and a good price point.

I had my aortic valve replaced in 2013. It was completely calcified. After the surgery, I started taking the M7 variant of K-2. My valve has been performing excellently - in fact, in the echos I have done, the doctor said he couldn't tell I have a new valve (bovine). I recently had a cardiac calcium score test done because by cardiologist said my cholesterol was high (I'm mostly carnivore). He said he would not put me on a statin if my calcium score was zero. Sure enough, it was zero. I believe the Now Foods K-2 helped with this by diverting calcium out of my blood.

Small capsules so easy to swallow. This is the good type of K2 which is MK7 (natural version, not synthetic). I have been taking these for a year or so and it seems to be doing what I needed. I was diagnosed with osteopenia/osteoporosis and my latest dexascan showed my bones were not deteriorating any further. If you take calcium supplements, you absolutely should be taking this. When you take calcium supplements, the calcium is circulating in your bloodstream and can contribute to clogged arteries. Take Vitamin D3 and K2 with your calcium always. Vitamin D pulls the calcium from your bloodstream and K2 deposits the calcium into your bones and teeth where it belongs.

Not a supplement that has much of a physically discernible result. Just have to trust the science as to long term results.

I purchased this product after a recommendation from a friend, (who is a diagnostic radiology doctor.) He had given a televised health presentation where he spoke of how science has finally "found a cure for Alzheimer's, Diabetes (type 2), Coronary Artery Disease, and a host of other diseases based on inflammation (almost all diseases are caused by or influenced by inflammation.)" He stated "The "cure" is to decrease or eliminate all things causing inflammation, and to increase all things which decrease inflammation. It is simplistic on its face, but becomes somewhat intricate in the details (if you want to be meticulous about fine tuning it.) We now know how to dissolve the amyloid plaques of Alzheimer's, and the atherosclerotic plaques which cause heart attacks, strokes, and leg amputations." He went on to say "vitamin K2 M-7 has become very important. Without it, any calcium absorbed through your intestines (via Vitamin B3) doesn't then know where to go ... so instead of going to your bones, it goes to your kidneys (kidney stones) and your gall bladder (gall stones) and your teeth (calcified plaque) ... but most deadly ... to your arteries (calcified plaques). The bad news is that 95% of us are deficient in Vitamin K. The good news is that a relatively inexpensive capsule can solve that. The great news is that Vitamin K2 can actually remove the calcification from these abnormal sites over time, and shift it to your bones." He then explained that we always knew about vitamin K1, which mainly helps your blood to clot normally; vitamin K2 mainly directs the deposition of calcium; both overlap a bit in these two functions; K1 can be gotten easily in dark green veggies and leafy greens; K2 is harder to get in your diet; the Japanese get if from natto --- a fermented soybean food the smells rotten and tastes the same; the best form to take K2 is menaquinone MK-7, which is a natural extract from the natto; (at Amazon.com “NOW” Vitamin K2 MK-7 100 mcg 1/day 60 tabs for $9;) always take with fat to assure absorption; I take it with my fish oil capsules.) I started my Mom on this as she seemed to be getting a bit forgetful. I see a noticeable difference .

good

love this product. I have seen a reduction in the build up of fatty globules on the inside of my arms. I was shocked to see it disappear so fast, so I know it is working and would otherwise not have realized but noticed this profound difference immediately. I am sure it helps keep the arteries unclogged and that is a good thing. I have already reordered this product for two more bottles. I dont want to run out. I feel it is helping my body assimilate fat and calories more efficiently, as I am losing the build up of fat in my upper arms and some on my belly, which happens as we age. So, I would highly recommend this product and love the fact that it is available without the K1, which concerns me about excessive clotting, unless clotting is needed. But I like to separate the two so I can control the amount of what I am getting from each. Thank you so much for producing this product. I feel it is very helpful and I noticed it immediately. You might want to think about advertising this product more, as I went to the healthfood store and they didn't know what I was talking about initially, and I wasn't aware there was a difference in K2 and K1 until I read the report on this supplement at Amazon. I also ordered and have read the book by Kate Rheaume, B.Sc. N. D. Very important information there!

Good product. I will order this again.

O Brasil tem poucas marcas de vitamina K7 certificada, eu acho a now foods uma excelente opção.
