Meglio Hand Therapy Putty, X-Soft, Yellow, 53g, Hand Rehab Exercise Putty

Love it. This was the next one on from the colour the hospital gave me. Great price and product.

I was advised to use this product following resetting of my thumb after dislocation. I was given several exercises to do with the putty. It had to be the extra extra soft variety. It continues to help me recover from the trauma and I am hoping to gain more flexibility in my joint by using it, particularly as it affects my dominant hand. I fully recommend it and give 5 stars though the system won't let me!

My physio recommended similar putty for hypermobility in my hands. This seems great so far. It's soft but still has resistance, without being painful. I think any heavier would be too much until my hands strengthen up a bit. It's also fun to use! It takes on the shape of its container ( a bit like a cat in a bowl!). It doesn't leave my hands sticky or leave any residue. It's good value for money and I hope it lasts well. So far it's as good as new and I've used it several times a day for a week. The tub is small but exactly the right amount for my hand. Happy to recommend.

Good product really helped my tendon repair process

Started off really hard but good for hand exercises, but now its very soft and sticky, comes off and gets stuck to my hands now even when left overnight or on a cold day so its not the temperature, shame it didnt last very long, ive only had it a couple months and no resistance in it at all now, it literally drips off into pieces if you hold it up

My physiotherapist recommended I buy putty from Amazon rather than use blu-tack for the exercises I'd been shown to strengthen my hands, since blu-tack gets softer as it warms up, and the exercises therefore become easier. Unfortunately, this putty does the same thing, and so I am finding that 'medium' becomes 'soft' rather quickly. It doesn't have the same properties in any other way (roll it up into a ball and set it down - it will soon go as flat as a pancake), and my little ball has stayed very clean so I haven't had to dip back into the pot for more. In that respect, it is good value for the amount you get, but possibly also quite wasteful. I am loathe therefore to buy another pot, however I appreciate I might want/need to go up a strength in due course anyway. If this is a product you haven't used before either, and you don't have such an extreme aversion to waste, then you may want to try two different strengths from the outset, to make sure you get what you need.

This worked well with getting my hand back in motion, after my hand surgery.
