This X300 Simrex branded mini drone arrived securely packed inside its box. Firstly, it is quite well made and looks to be premium quality. It is pretty small so easy to maneuver even for beginners. The yellow colour is quite distinctive and I like it. The drone requires some basic assembly that took me less than 5 minutes. Because of its compact size, it is also easy to carry around when on the move. The controls are pretty simple too once you get the hang of it. The drone is quite fun and a good activity especially with kids. The camera quality is surprisingly good (it says its 720p) given its compact size and build. You can take photos or even make video clips when flying which can be a fascinating experience. It is rechargeable and takes around 2 to 3 hours to fully charge. It then last around 15, 20 minutes of flying when a recharge is required. So overall battery life is decent too. All in all, pretty good and sleek looking mini drone that is both engaging and offers fun. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to buy a beginner's drone.

This little drone is very sturdy and controllable unlike other similar models. It is smaller than we thought but it’s ideal for my 9 year old boy. Charges via USB and comes with extra propellers incase of mishaps. It’s been faultless so far and I had later more than we thought. Money well worth spent.

I brought two of these for my kids. They are basic and poor quality but for the price I would say not bad. They worked and flew but maybe I was expecting more from them. Both have since been discarded as they were just not up to the job and did not keep the kids attention due to the fact that they don't fly that well and the camera operation is difficult and clunky to use. I guess you get what you pay for. I think there are many of these out there now around this price and I would honestly just try and spend as much as you can on an item like this as the cheap ones are just really throw away items. If this is all you can afford then it will work but won't last months.

Fun to fly but not easy or is that just me lol? Great little toy to play with inside the house lasts about 10 minutes on each battery so good for what it is fun product worth a punt. Why did you choose this product over others?: On special price at the time of purchase
