First, I’d like to thank Wicked Cushions and Gadgetry Tech — both are incredibly creative teams producing excellent products. I absolutely love these pads. They noticeably enhance the higher-end frequencies, making them ideal for FPS-focused or competitive gameplay. While they are not the best choice for heavy bass, especially if you’re coming from Wicked Cushion Freeze pads or stock pads, the trade-off is improved clarity. Even with EQ adjustments on consoles, the bass won’t fully match that of the stock or Freeze pads, though on PC, using software like Sonar or other audio tools, you can get closer to that original low-end sound.

5 stars all day! Joe from Gadgetry Tech is a genius so I trusted trying these. SUPER soft and comfy. Like a cloud pinching your head. I have the WC freeze version too and these are WAY better. More plush and actually stay cooler over time. I bought these for my Maxwell's so then had to have em for my Nova pro too. Enhance comfort dramatically! My WC freeze both sit in the bag now. Now back to Arc Raiders... Gotta go topside! Now in comfort😂

Super plush and comfy. I ordered these because my other cushions would push on my glasses and caused ear pain after extended use as a result. These are super plush and kind of mold around the ear pieces on the glasses without the extra pressure. Highly recommend if you have glasses

i follow joe on youtube, ( maker of this pad) and across the years? i have always valued his opinions and seem to agree with his opinions on headsets and pads. I was very interested in this pad and it delivers on everything he set out to make. I use it on the nova 5 and from a comfort perspective it really us an upgrade over the stovk pads which are soft, but but a tad bit to small on the width and hight. this new pad is an upgrade both ways, now my ears fit completely into the hole and does not press on any side. big win. the material is more velour i think but breaths more than the astro velour so my ears never got too hot and had to take off the headset after my two hour game session, now whatever eq change from the pad is easily fixed by the eq on the steel series app. . in conclusion very highly recommend! well worth the money.

Wish I could give it a 4.5 review. It is almost perfect. Im coming from the arctis pros and bough the nova pro and put these on before using the stock leather cups. My comparison comes from using fabric for the cups. The pros are the sound stage. Using this while playing apex (and using a mix of the EQ provided in the description) is insane. I was hearing steps so far away it literally took my brain to realize how far they were due to the bump in the 1-2k area. You definitely need to tweak the EQ to your personal preference but the suggested EQ is a great place to start The only reason it loses .5 stars is the heat. The material is hotter than fabric/mesh that comes with other models. It may be cooler than the leather. It is extremely comfortable though!

These earpads alongside with GadgetryTech's EQ profiles for Sonar make me feel like this is a different headphone. The sound is more airy, and the earpads are soft and comfortable. The comfort is a level up, as I have the leather pads and the freeze gel ones also and these are the most comfortable to wear. I really enjoy the sound with the EQ and its bringing me much more enjoyment for this headset.

EDIT 2: I was contacted by the company, but then promptly ghosted when I replied. Going to reduce it to 1 star. Not a great way to handle a negative experience and genuine concerns about how the product installation is shown to beginners. EDIT: I since got a different pair of ear cushions from WC and you have to push WAYYYY harder than they act like on the video. If they aren't fitting, try pushing quite a bit harder. I know that seems a bit iffy since these are expensive headphones, but they do eventually snap in. Just line it up and trust the process. I'll rate this 2 stars cause I genuinely think it's problematic to not mention how hard you need to push. I think the clips get worn down so the preview video was super easy cause of that compared to a brand new replacement. not sure. Quite literally did not fit my Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. Not sure if the product was damaged on arrival, or if there's just bad QC from the company. It's a shame because they seem to have really good reviews. The original earcups fit back on easily, so it's 100% an issue with these new earcups. No matter how much force I applied, they just didn't snap in. I didn't feel comfortable continuing to apply more force, as these are expensive headphones, so I unfortunately had to return them. I can't speak to anything else as the product was uninstallable and functionally unusable out of the box.

They look comfy, and they TRULY are, the stock pads on the Nova Pro Wireless were not that bad, at least to me, but I bought these just to try them, the noise cancellation is not that good tho, I can hear everything around me but that is not a problem for me, the quality of the material feels good, the size, my ears are medium so it fits well. I like them and would recommend them.
