I was a bit hesitant to purchase this doll, but she was available at a reasonable price, and I am always attracted to dolls with fantasy hair color. This doll's light pink hair was voluminous but difficult to style - it came out of the box not looking very good, as is often the case with polypropylene hair. The body is articulated at elbows, wrists, and knees above the usual Fashionista 5-point articulation, so there's nice posability. The clothing is very shiny but pretty good quality so I used it to restyle another doll. The gloves, however, were ridiculously overstated in a somewhat thick velveteen material with added top ruffles. I have no idea why this styling was chosen - it can't be adapted well to any doll for a realistic look. Maybe some kind of costume, but not regular fashion. Anyway, the dress and boots are made to fit a curvy Mattel body, and the dress can be used on a variety of other dolls. Overall I guess I'm happy to have this doll - especially after I redressed her in clothing that seemed a bit less flashy so as not to compete with her visually overpowering hair. LOL.
