This is an excellent Dashcam’s, very good value for money, very easy to set up and operate via the downloadable App. The unit comes well boxed and has everything that’s needed to set up and go! There is the camera, power lead, sticky pads/film to attach to windscreen (plus spares) and a good user manual. Register for a 2yr guarantee- I did mine via WhatsApp- the response from ‘Emma’ was first class ( allow for time difference) advice is at the end of a message and I’m confident that support is there if needed. The camera picture is very clear and sharp - good value and I’d recommend it👍🏻

A brief review of the GKU D200 dashcam (£55) - Manufacturer sponsored review Packaging is sturdy and the contents are well protected. The instructions are a little small in size but clear. The supplier also emailed instructions upon receipt of my order which was neat! The plug-in adaptor for the power is a little bulky but the supplier also offered a separate USB-C cable or wiring kit direct to the car’s fuseboard (the latter option sounds a bit too tricky for me!). The dashcam is small enough to tuck neatly behind the rearview mirror and this was an important factor for me: previously I have had dashcams which are simply too prominent. The downside is that there is no screen on this unit, but for me, that trade-off is worth it. The installation is very straightforward – just make sure the surfaces are clean and take your time -and the dashcam seems to be sturdily stuck in position. Neat bracket too which allows easy removal of the camera. The app is easy to download and use. Whilst the button on the dashcam operating the menu is a little small, the blue operating light is just big enough to see that the unit is in recording mode without being distracting, particularly at night. The voice prompts are useful but I found that there were a few too many spurious ‘Wi-fi connected’ / “Wi-fi disconnected” prompts so I will be muting the voice in normal operation. Importantly, however, the video and photos captured look great quality albeit I need more time to see results in all conditions. The customer support has, to date, been excellent: prompt responses by email and offers of help with cabling and one or two other queries. All in all, an unobtrusive dashcam with great performance and solid customer support.

This dashcam is extremely simple to setup and use, with no frills and no fuss - however it gives a full 4K resolution video capability (and lower res if you choose.) The box contents is straightforward as shown. There is an optional hardwire kit which will allow the parking mode to work up to 48 hours. Mounting the camera is simple, by using the square plastic sticking square, then mount the 3M sticker mount onto that. It would be good to have some additional mounting plates as there is only 1 in the box unfortunately. Setup is all done in the GKU app, after you connect to the dashcam's own wifi. The SSID can be renamed to whatever you want and change the password too. I would like to be able to set the watermark text to my registration number for the recording purpose, but hope this can be a firmware update improvement. The video quality is very sharp and clear, with all details legible such as number plates and road signs etc. You can view and download videos via the app and save, share, upload as you like. There is no option to add a rear camera, but I suppose if you want rear you would choose a different package. You can reset the camera through the app or by holding the side button more than 5 seconds, which can be handy in case of problems, but I have not had any issues. All in all a great little package, which gives a full 4K resolution video and screen captures from that as you wish. Performs as expected and this is a brand that I would not hesitate to recommend.

I’ve been using the GKU D200 4K dash cam for a few weeks now, and it’s been great so far. The video quality is sharp, and the wide-angle lens covers a lot of the road. The night vision is especially impressive - picks up details really well even in low light. The design is compact and doesn’t block my view, plus it was super easy to set up, next step is to hardwire it. Wi-Fi feature is very conveneient - handy to grab footage straight to my phone through the app. The parking mode and G-sensor are nice extras for peace of mind when the car’s parked I guess, can't comment on those just yet since I haven't had mine hardwired as of yet. If I had to nitpick, the daytime footage could be a bit sharper, and the storage fills up fast if you’re recording in 4K. But overall, it’s a solid little camera that does exactly what I need without costing a fortune. Definitely recommend it!

I purchased this GKU Dashcam as an upgrade to replace a ten year old unit. Technology has moved on and I had a near miss with a crazy driver nearly taking my car off the road. Sadly the original camera did not have the resolution required to capture the car details so it was time to upgrade it. The GKU video camera was supplied along with accessories in a neat box. I laid these out in the accompanying images and tried to show everything, including the clear plastic sheets used to fit the camera mounting body to the windscreen. It is important to read the instruction manual before commencing any fitting of camera and wiring. Spend a few moments cleaning the inside of the windscreen (with a piece of kitchen paper roll) before holding up the plastic sheet and camera body to determine best location. I placed mine at the top centre of the windscreen (ensuring that there were no obstructions) before fitting the camera mount with it's sticky pad onto the glass. Don't forget to remove the camera lens protective cover! I fitted the wiring along the windscreen door pillar using a temporary adhesive material and along to the accessory power socket. The fitting glows blue and has a handy USB charging port for other equipment. Having downloaded the GKU app to mu Samsung Android Mobile Telephone, it was a simple task to get them communicating via Bluetooth and set the camera up. In use the camera has a verbal instruction that it has started recording and it will show a copy of the real-time drive to the mobile. I have tested this at night and it has a good resolution in the dark. The only other job is to order a "hard wiring" kit make the install neat and tidy, a later job for me I think! In all a decent quality product at a good price that could save you a lot of bother in the event of being involved in issues cause by another person causing a car incident. For the price this little cam is brilliant. Easy to install and is quite discrete, hidden nicely up above the interior mirror. Great design if you don't want all the bells & whistles & the distraction seen in some models. The app works well and it's relatively easy to access the footage. Night vision is good and the overall picture quality is excellent, night and day. Would recommend 👌 UPDATE: Sept 25: connectivity issues, cam appears to have lost its WiFi signal 😬 Customer Services replacing free of charge 🫡

I am posting this review after about a week of use. The camera works well and the video clarity is decent for everyday driving. I am also attaching some videos recorded by the camera so others can see the actual recording quality. The cable length is long enough to route it neatly around the corners, and the installation was very easy. One thing I noticed is that when using the 12V charger, it continues to draw power even when the car is off, so I have to unplug it to prevent the car battery from draining. Because of this, the parking mode doesn’t work unless you install a hardwire kit connected to the fuse box. Also, the product image shows a 64GB Pro SD card, but I received the basic SD card instead.

Acabo de adquirir la cámara GKU D200 de 2.5k de resolución y tengo que decir que estoy muy contento con la compra. Las características de esta cámara la hacen perfecta para poder realizar una grabación de calidad cuando encendemos el coche de manera automática. Esto es muy útil para olvidarse de que la tenemos instalada, pero se sabe que cuando haga falta, gracias a la conexión Wifi, podemos extraer los videos que necesitemos. Son múltiples las utilidades: desde recordar el camino o itinerario en un viaje, grabar imágenes en caso de un accidente o incluso grabar sucesos inesperados como cruces de animales cinegéticos en carretera. Las imágenes serán de gran utilidad como prueba ante el seguro o perito. Aparte de esta función, tenemos la de vigilancia permanente gracias al kit de 24 h. Que por cierto podéis solicitar al fabricante. Cabe decir que el servicio técnico contesta muy rápido y resuelven tus dudas en pocas horas. Se nota que es un producto de calidad por los materiales de fabricación, el fácil manejo y la gran cantidad de parámetros de configuración que se pueden hacer con el teléfono. En el paquete va incluida la cámara, las pegatinas estáticas, el manual, las pegatinas de doble cara, la tarjeta de garantía y el transformador de mechero que, una vez conectado, permite conectar más dispositivos, quedando un puerto USB para conexiones. También va un accesorio para pasar cables por el coche. Por último añadir que se le puede poner una tarjeta micro SD de hasta 256 Gb. Os recomiendo que utiliceis una de larga duración por que la cámara irá grabando y si necesita espacio sobreescribirá los videos más antiguos. En caso de accidente los videos se quedan bloqueados para que no se borren a no ser que lo hagamos intencionadamente. En resumen: no se puede pedir más por este precio. Gran cámara.

La Dascam GKU es una excelente dashcam que superó mis expectativas. La calidad de imagen es impresionante, tanto de día como de noche. La instalación es sencilla y rápida, y el diseño es compacto. Además, tiene funciones útiles como la grabación en bucle y la detección de movimiento, lo que la convierte en una gran opción para la seguridad en carretera a diário. Definitivamente la recomendo a cualquiera que busque una dashcam confiable y eficiente, además tiene un suporte pos venda excelente tengo que agradecer a Judy por todo su esfuezo y amabilidad para me ayudar con un problema que he tenido con mi dashcam, incluso me envió otra para solventar el problema que tenía con la primera dashcam...muchas gracias Judy.

La llevo usando durante un mes todos los días de la semana, la uso para el trabajo y funciona muy bien. La calidad de imagen es muy buena y la conexión con el móvil también. Al ver los videos con la app, sin descargarlos, no se ven muy bien, va muy lento y la calidad no es muy buena. De todas formas eso es por la alta calidad del video, que le cuesta cargar un archivo tan grande Vía WiFi. Si lo descargas en el móvil se ve perfectamente. Estoy muy contento con la compra y la recomendaría seguro.

El envío de la DASH CAM fue todo correcto. Llegó en el tiempo estipulado y en perfectas condiciones. Es fácil de instalar y de enlazar con el móvil. El único pero que le pondría, es que la luz intermitente de que está grabando, es un poco molesta, aunque sólo se ve por la noche, durante el día es imperceptible. Espero acostumbrarme pronto.

Inizio da una cosa che ho trovato assolutamente eccellente, la pronta assistenza post vendita. Avevo bisogno di un cavo dedicato di montaggio per la mia I10, ho scritto all'assistenza e dopo una immediata risposta, seguendo la procedura da loro indicatami, mi e' stato spedito senza alcun addebito il cablaggio fisso che avevo richiesto per usufruire di tutte le caratteristiche offerte della Cam, compresa quella di registrare anche in posizione di parcheggio. Il montaggio e' stato abbastanza semplice ed ho scelto di utilizzare 2 ruba-fusibili acquistati per l'occasione sempre su Amazon insieme alla memoria da 128. Il risultato è un cablaggio pulito ed abbastanza rapido che, con un minimo di conoscenze, tutti sono in grado di fare, facilitato anche dalle chiare istruzioni che mi erano state fornite. Il funzionamento e' impeccabile con immagini ad alta risoluzione sia di giorno che di notte, la app permette di personalizzare completamente le funzioni della Cam con tutte le opzioni disponibili. Che dire, soddisfatto completamente e insisto nel considerare un plus il servizio fornitomi dall'assistenza. Giudico inoltre il rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Credo ne acquisterò un'altra per la macchina di mia moglie. -------- Oggi 7 febbraio 2025, ho deciso di effettuare una revisione parziale di questa recensione, perchè alla fine ad oggi ne ho acquistate ben 4 di queste Cam, tutte dal funzionamento impeccabile, ma quello che mi ha spinto a fare questa aggiunta e' per una citazione particolare per l' ASSISTENZA CLIENTI, punto di forza totale del prodotto. Una menzione particolare mi sento di farla per JUDY che si è prodigata per esaudire le mie richieste con competenza, prontezza e gentilezza. Veramente una azienda degna di rilievo.
