El modelo enviado fue diferente pero quedó aún mejor. Sin problema para los 5 escalones. Lo recomiendo ampliamente

Product is sturdy and well packaged. Install is straightforward however there could be a couple of minor improvements. 1) The supplied concrete anchors use a flimsy looking sheet metal shield to lock them in the concrete. I would prefer they were a typical redhead style . But I understand the use of bolts in order to fit under the baseplate cover. I do not know how well they would last in am exterior application. 2) The provided 10mm drill bit is rather short for drilling through the baseplate holes and is designed for an SDS Max drill instead of the typical SDS Plus drill. I wasn't even aware that you could get a 10mm SDS Max drill. Fortunately the supplied anchors worked fine with a 3/8" hole. 3) The top bracket is more than 3 1/2" tall. If you're installing into blocking, it would be better to have a 2x6 or you can redrill the lower hole in the top bracket. 4) The top bracket attaches with a stud and two cap nuts. It would look nicer to use the swivel bracket's Chicago screw. All minor issues. The product provides a secure handhold at a low price. I will use it again if I need another.

The handrail (1-2 step) showed up on time & well packaged. The top rail is the heaviest part of the whole assembly. All needed bolts, screws, & washers were included. There were several extra lag bolts & concrete bolts to allow for installation in wood or concrete on both ends. NOW some of the less than great points. As many have commented, there are no instructions. However, basic skills should prove enough to be effective. Most of the parts can only fit one way. This kit does not have everything you need for installation. For example; you need two wrenches to affix the top part of the handrail to the mounting plate, & you need two hex keys (allen wrenches) to attatch the lower portion of the handrail to the upright post, you only get one of each. Which brings us to the upright post. It is a softer metal than I'd like. With only partial welds. Given the sturdiness of the top rail, they really dropped the ball on the upright post. It does work, just would have liked to have seen atleast half of the quality they put into the rest of the kit. You will also need the appropriate drill bits & drill. If going into wood, you'll need a 3/16" wood bit for a pilot hole for the lag bolts. If going into concrete, you'll need a 3/8" concrete bit & hammer drill. You will need a hammer to tap the concrete anchor bolts into the holes. & lastly a pencil to mark where you need to drill all of these holes. A helper will expedite the process. TO WRAP IT UP: any reviews mentioning "not secure", "wobbles", or any of the such, is an installation problem caused by the installer. The only reason it wouldn't be the installer's fault is if you're trying to attach to sub-par structures. In which case you've got more problems than needing a handrail. It took less than 30 minutes for the install. Admittedly I do run a handyman company with competent techs & helpers. So contacting a local company may be you're best bet if you don't have all the tools or knowledge to complete the install. Keep in mind they may have a minimum charge for any work performed. I would definitely purchase this product again. I used it on a poured concrete sidewalk & steps going to a wood framed structure with T-11 siding.

Needed this to install for my special needs granddaughter to safely walk up the steps into her home. It is adjustable, heavy duty, and has a wide hand rail that was perfect for her. The paint quality is good too. Very happy with it. :-)

This thing is heavy duty. Very well made. It came with the concrete drill bit and the concrete anchors worked perfectly and my hammer drill had this thing installed in about 1 hour. I added a small piece of scrap 2x4 as a shim on the wall so that the base landed a little further away from the middle step.
